My day is wonderful today, I am so happy, today I even straightened my hair. I walk up to my friend Tess, she is busy at the student resting area cracking jokes with some of the girls from our class. I haven’t been able to make friends with anyone else except her.
She smiles when she sees me. “Hey darling, you look different and happy.” She says coming close to me for a quick hug. She says goodbye to the others and she follows me.
“So tell me, did you shower today or what.” She teases and bumps our shoulders together.
“Really Tess, you think I don’t shower.” I ask jokingly and I fake a sad face.
“Oh no darling, I mean you look different today it’s as if something has changed in you.” She says looking at me with a curious expression. Well, there is no way I am going to tell her
