I lay back on my bed, shaking my head. That was an absurd idea, and if I was caught, I would end up losing my head.
“No. It’s far too risky.” I shook my head.
But the idea still crept in and stayed on my mind.
I mean, I just said I wanted to know him, and no one would have to know.
“Elara, you don’t even know his schedule. What if he comes home and catches you? You’d be done for.”
I told myself as I tried to dispel the thoughts.
I decided to go back downstairs and keep busy so I wouldn’t think about it anymore.
