I sighed as I went up to my room. It had been four days since I had last seen or heard from Cassian. He was clearly avoiding me. He always had dinner before I came back from work, or he was already upstairs in his study. Our usual evening routine spent in my studio had come to an end. I could hardly even paint without him being there. I was already so used to his presence even though he was usually silent.
