I woke up feeling much better. I guess yesterday really took a toll on me. I had a strange feeling today was going to be a good day. It was a weekend, so that was already a plus.
I got ready, and soon I was already going down for breakfast. Rose greeted me as usual as I sat down. I was eating silently when I heard footsteps. I looked up as Cassian walked in.
I paused as our eyes maintained eye contact until I tore my eyes away. This was the first time I was seeing him in almost a week.
A maid seemed to share my sentiment as she paused, staring in surprise. “S..sir, Good morning, s.. sir. Shall I serve your breakfast?” She asked, fumbling over her words.
Cassian merely nodded, dropping his phone on the table and sitting down.
