Nina lay on the car seat, unable to see the darkness outside, trying to push the thought of being alone to the back of her mind, but the sounds of nature outside the car made her anxious. She wasn't sure how many minutes had passed, but she was afraid Henrique wouldn't return before dawn, and she would be forced to spend the night alone.
