After the movie, they went to bed. Helena felt the mild cramps intensifying. Since she had been with Estefano, she hadn't taken any medication for it, and the cramps had disappeared. She deduced they were mainly caused by the stress and abuse she had previously suffered.
Already lying down, she groaned, and Estefano noticed the grimace of pain.
"Sweetheart, are you in pain?"

"Is it because of your period?"

Helena replied, closing her eyes.
