The Kindness of Strangers
Megan placed her ad in the online magazine Sydney’s Child.
She scrolled past images of mothers cuddling pink infants and dads kissing chubby baby toes. The magazine featured articles on toilet training and how to deal with gifted or wilful children. But it was also well known for its ads for donor eggs and surrogate mothers. When Megan read her own words in print she blushed.
