The next day dad took him out for ice cream and playing in the park. I was alone in the room thinking to myself about what's gonna happen next.
Will he come and get me??
No, I won't let him do that.
Will he tell Nathan the truth??
No, I'll say him the truth before he says it. I can't hurt my baby.
I felt determined about telling Nathan everything and in a way that he will not be hurt.
I walked out on the balcony of my room and took the fresh air inside me and felt somewhat relieved. I heard my phone ring. I wasn't supposed to ring because I was told not to be disturbed.
I picked up the call...
"Hello... I told you not to disturb me today..." I told the person.
"Sorry... actually I wanted to hear your voice... Ummm... Hi," I know this voice.
"What do want Zander after all these years?" I was angry.
"I want to meet you. I miss you. Please come home. " he sounded almost pleading.
"This is my home Zander and we are divorced. I am no more yours" I kept my voice cold.
"You were always mine. And I have every right to claim you back. I have a son. I need him." I was fuming him could he say that. Nathan is my son. He has no claims over him.
"No he is not yours, he is mine. " I was freaking out.
"He will soon be ours. He needs a dad and I'm ready to be his dad. Please come back to me." It was the last stroke.
I disconnect the call and throw my phone down the balcony. It goes flying and crashes on the floor.
I felt sorry for my Iphone6 but I was angry.
I would never allow him to come near Nathan and create a bond between them. I will take him away from here.

The Sports Day...
We all got to the school grounds where we were supposed to be seated. I saw Nathan looking everywhere to find the face he wanted to see his dad's.
"Nathan why don't you go to your place and get ready, we are here edit you " I smiled at him.
He nodded and left with his friends.
"Dad we must tell the truth I don't want Zander to destroy my life again, " I tell my dad.
"I know princess but he is too young to understand your relation with Zander ".
I know somewhere he was telling the truth but I have to save him from my past.
We heard the voice of the announcer who was seeking all attention. It was the first race and Nathan was standing in the starting looking horrified.
"Don't worry baby you will be fine just trust yourself" I shout at the top of my voice to gain his attention and he smiled at me.
"Come on Prince you can do it" dad shouted he was looking normal now. Suddenly his face started glowing more. I saw the direction he was looking to.
He was standing there smiling at Nathan and then looked at me.
"What is he doing here?" I asked dad.
"Nathan" I muttered to myself. He was cheering my son. And Nathan looked determined to win the race because his dad was by his side.
The race started and at the finishing line, I see my boy winning. I jump for joy and run towards him and he jumps at my arms. Zander comes and stands beside us.
"Mummy Daddy I won" he gave me a toothy grin.
"Champ you were great," Zander said.
"Mommy I need to go" I nod and he goes with his friends.
"Hii Amelia," he said.
"Why are you here??" I said to him.
"Nathan invited me," he said.
I walked back to my place but he walked before me to stop me.
"Can I sit with you?" He asked.
"For Nathan," he said again.
"For Nathan " I muttered.
He sat beside me. I felt dad stiffened beside me. But I felt helpless. We did not talk much except for cheering Nathan and smiling at him.
In the end, we were happy for Nathan and his achievements and we were moving towards our car when Zander called from behind.
"Amelia... Nathan.. wait" he shouted.
"Daddy..." Nathan left my hand and ran towards him. He jumped in his lap.
" What do you want Zander?" I asked him.
"I wanted to invite you to my party this Friday. Please come and attend it" he said to me.
"We can't," I said.
"Mommy please... can we please go?? Please, mommy... Please..." Nathan gave me his best puppy face. I never force my decision onto him. I love him to death.
" Okay, Nathan we can go" He smiled at me and kissed Zander's cheeks.
He jumped back and ran down to sit inside the car, Zander came forward and held my hand.
"Thank You, Amelia, for coming I would be honored if you come sir" he gestured dad.
"No. Thank you " he gave a tight smile and passed us and set inside the car.
"Can you please leave me??" I gestured at my hand.
He loosened his grip and I removed my hand.
"Thank You," I said and turned to leave.
"Amelia can you please give me a chance to explain myself" he pleaded.
"No. I guess I should go. See you this weekend" I say inside the car and we left him standing in the parking.
