Recap:-
"You should visit Nathan this week, he would be very excited to see you," I said to him. Happiness was all over him.
He came towards me and hugged me.
When we heard a door open and a scary known voice, "What the hell is going on here? ".
Skyler removes his arms around me and I face Zander.
Holy mother of God.
" What's happening here?? " I heard very annoyed Zander.
"It was nothing " Skyler and I said simultaneously.
He didn't seem so pleased with our words. He was silent.
I shifted my focus onto Skyler,
"So I'll see you soon Skyler, it was nice meeting you," I said to him.
"No pleasure was all mine Amelia, and I'll see you soon I can't wait to meet again" He was smiling brightly.
"Ok then," I said.
"I'll walk you out " He insisted.
"No, I'll walk her out" Interrupted Zander. And then he pulled me with him.
He held him firmly and closer not letting me go. We entered the elevator together, I refused to look at him but he jerked me and forced me to face him.
"What the hell was happening inside Amelia. How could you do this to me?? Answer me??" He kept asking.
I was silent. He continued,
"I kept begging you for one chance but you didn't give me once...Didn't you love me?? You just moved on... " He sounds broken and hurt.
I looked into his eyes full of pain I wanted to hug him and cry but I had to be strong.
"Zandar meeting Skyler was a private matter, it was nothing to do with our problems and you are no one to me Zandar... You forced me to move on and please don't pull me back. " Saying this I exited the elevator.
Zander followed close behind,
"No Amelia, I'm not doing the same mistakes again. Please give me a chance I'll do anything for you. " Now he was begging.
"Leave me alone Zander let me be, " I said to him.
"One chance Amelia just one please, " He said again.
"Ok fine Zander I'll listen to all of your side stories and then I'll leave, " I said to him.
"If you think you can leave after that you're wrong, I won't let you leave me alone Amelia not again. I need you" He sounds so desperate which made me curious.
"Ok, Zander fine. I listen to all of you and then I'll decide to be with you or not" I say to him.
"Ok then it's a date," He said with a smirk on his face.
And I turn my back at him and slide inside my car.

The next days I started receiving texts from Zander about how he misses me and can't wait for the date. I never respond to him but somehow he knows I don't ignore him either.
He kept talking about the days we were together and end up saying sorry every time he remembers any mistakes. I had to put my phone outside to focus on work. It kept ringing every time I missed a text.
The whole office was observing me closely. I was irritated and angry at his childish behavior.
One afternoon my phone couldn't stop ringing and at my utter frustration I pick up the call,
"One more time you call me and I'll kill u, I can promise that".
" Miss Rose I didn't do anything to get myself killed. " Said a deep voice.
My face turned red in embarrassment.
I'll kill you for this Zander.
"Skyler... I'm so sorry Mr. Stone I was really irritated with someone, it wasn't for you... " I say him.
"Sure it wasn't for me " He chuckled on the other side of the phone.
"Why did you call me anyway?? " I ask him shifting the topic.
"I wanted to meet Nathan and spend time with him this weekend. Is it possible?? " He asks me.
"Of course it is. You can come over to our house and take him to the park. " I say him.
" Will you accompany us? So that we can get to know each other better. This is the first outing with my son. I want to know about him. Will you help me? " He asked me. He was such a nice person and a good father.
"I will. " I assured him.
"Thank you, Amelia, I'm extremely thankful to you" He sounds so happy.
"It's my pleasure Skyler" I smile.
"Ok, Amelia meets you this weekend," He says to me.
"See you there Skyler" And I hang up.
He really did lighten up my mood and shift it to a peaceful silence.
After I ended the call my phone ringing...
Maybe he called for the address...
"Skyler I'll text you the address," I said picking up the phone.
"And why would you do that?? " I heard an angry voice on the other side of the phone.
Holy mother of God.
"Zander... " My voice shrunk.
"Yes, Amelia... That's me" He sounded angry.
"Why did you call anyway?? " I tried to shift the topic.
"I wanted to ask you on a date this weekend but you were planning with someone else. Weren't you?? " He asked me.
Shrewd guy.
"Umm... Yes, this weekend I'll be with Nathan. Sorry, Zander sometime later" I don't want him to know anything.
"Why did Skyler call you?? " He asked.
I didn't want him to know, so I lied to him.
"Well that was business and none of your business," I said to him.
"You said you text him your address. For what?? " He rephrased his question.
"Was it for a date?? " He added.
"None of your business Zander. Stop calling and texting me it's irritating" I said and hung up.
Why on earth do I have a strong feeling that my weekends gonna be a very big disaster.
