My eyes snapped back to my senses. The tension built in the room was too much to handle, no one was eager to break the silence. Zander's face was too pale and his eyes flickered from me and Crimson from time to time. He was in a fix, and that b***h was smirking.
She decided to break the silence,
"Baby I missed you so much " she seductively placed a kiss on her cheeks near the lips.
He didn't mind throwing that leech away from the body, he didn't hug her either.
I felt a lot of mixed feelings and couldn't stand that home-wrecking b***h anymore. I started walking towards the door when mom entered, she smiled at me but when she looked back at them she frowned,
"What the hell is she doing here??" mom frowned looking at Zander.
He dropped his head and looked away from her. I turned my head away from them and walked away from that dreadful scene.
"Amelia let me explain" I couldn't hear further.
He loves hurting me from time to time. I thought he finally accepted me but no, he always wanted to break me and now he is successful again.
I reached home and ran straight towards my room, rested my head on my pillow, and cried my heart out. I felt so sick and shameful for myself that I let him destroy me again. I heard someone knock on the door, I looked up it was Skyler.
"Hii" he sat beside me.
"Hey" I replied.
"I'm sorry Amelia but this shouldn't have happened" he placed his hand on my shoulders.
"It's my fault, Skyler, you shouldn't be sorry" I laughed coldly.
"It's not your fault Amelia, it is all his fault. He can't stand for his love or you, you shouldn't feel bad for yourself " he said.
"I'm so confused with life, it's making me crazy" I felt like I'll pull out all my hair.
"You need to calm down and think about everything and then decide, impulsiveness can lead to losses. For a business women like you, you should take your time and use your research before signing a deal" he explained.
I nodded he knocked some senses in me I felt. I thanked them for helping me and Nathan which he happily accepted and asked my permission for taking Nathan for a night at his place which I was first hesitant about but later on agreed. After I packed all his stuff and kissing Nathan and seeing him driving away. I finally drifted off to sleep.
I woke up and cleaned my mess and started to get ready for breakfast when I heard my baby's voice.
"MOMMYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!" I heard a happy voice rushing inside my room.
I stood up and felt a small pitied figure come and hug my legs, my son, my Nathan. I look into his innocent brown eyes piercing mine with his innocence and love. My heart fluttered with love, the feeling of motherly love.
"Yes, sweet pea " I kissed his cheeks.
"I and sky went to watch spiderman, he was so good and he was helping everyone and protecting his town. Mommy, I want to be like him strong" he said.
"You are very strong Nathan, you don't need to be like him, be yourself," I said to him.
"What does that mean mommy?" his innocence was too heartwarming.
"When you'll be a very big guy like the sky, you'll understand" he nodded and rushed out of the room.
"You are so natural with kids Amelia" Skyler smiled at me.
I looked at him and gave him a sincere smile,
"It's just that you have to love them and their innocent hearts will love you back," I said him.
We decided to have family time dad, Nathan, and Skyler went to our little hut near the beach and enjoyed our family time. We invited Skyler because he really bonded with our little family and quite happily blended. We came back from the hut and we talked for quite a couple of hours until very tired Nathan came to me and demanded to sleep with me because he wanted to protect his mommy.
Skyler thanked us for inviting him today and drove off. As I came inside, I saw dad waiting for me in the living room.
"Aren't you sleepy dad?"I asked him.
"I want to talk to you Amelia," he said to me.
I sat beside him and then asked him,
"About what?"
"Skyler. How do you like him as a person?"
"He is a good man also a good businessman and also Nathan's real father. He is a really good friend because he is supporting us in our hard times" I said honestly.
"I feel it that way too, but don't you think he can be a really good parent to Nathan?" he asked me.
" He already is dad" I replied.
"If I tell you to marry him for sake of Nathan, Will you ??" he asked me in a questioning look.
I stood frozen in place, marriage was really a bitter subject for me and I didn't want any more loveless marriages.
"I don't think so dad, maybe he will be a really good husband and a father but I cannot be in a loveless marriage anymore, I'm sorry dad" I replied honestly.
"I'm not forcing darling, but you should try and work it out with him, he seems to have a nice guy and he likes you. He asked my permission to take you out for a date, he wants to take it slow with you. Give him a chance Amelia, you deserve happiness too".
"I don't know dad, I'm in a fix, I need time to think," I told him.
"Take your time and once and for all think about your and Nathan's future" and with that words he dismissed me.
I walked up to my room, locked my door and placed myself in the bed next to Nathan, and kept thinking the whole night. Eventually, my tiredness overcame my brain and I slipped into slumber.
The next morning I woke up with my phone filled up with messages, calls, voice notes from Zander...
But I decided to ignore it and I knew now what exactly I would do with my life...

I know I'm extremely sorry but my exams can be a huge pain in the ass...
And not to forget my writer's block, I was so confused...
And I know you guys are too but I promise I'll try to clear it up pretty quick...
