Alexei observed the unfolding events with a hint of skepticism. "I don't know about that, I swear," she declared, her eyes narrowing slightly.
“Isn’t it odd that Alpha Martin has been quiet? I think we should pay that pack a visit after this,” Nikolai suddenly suggested, and Alexei found herself agreeing with him; that man and his daughter harbored a deep animosity toward them. They might very well be plotting something dreadful.
“He’s actually been on his best behavior and even meditates. Alaiah left the hospital and traveled to another country,” Jake informed the group, an air of concern lingering in his tone.
