Nikolai pushed gently into her, and she felt him fill her. It wasn’t painful; just a strange sensation, as it was the first time anything had gone inside her since the battle. He kissed her softly, his eyes searching hers as he moved. Then he stopped suddenly, like he’d hit a wall.
“I know it will hurt a little, but it’ll be quick. I promise to be as gentle as I can,” he said, and she kissed him back.
“Okay. I’m ready. Make me yours,” she whispered, her breath mingling with his.
He slid in a bit further, and it felt incredible. Then, he pulled back suddenly, and before she could react, he thrust in fully and broke through the barrier. A gasp escaped her lips; it hurt, but he was right—it faded fast, and the warmth of pleasure began to take over.
