As I prepared for my date, Lyra entered the room with a somber expression. "Is everything okay?" I asked, concerned.
She nodded and sat down on the white fur carpet in the middle of my closet. She had been melancholic for the past couple of weeks, throwing herself into her work at the company.
I showed her two outfit options I had picked out: a long dress with a beautiful neckline that subtly accentuated my cleavage, and a bareback dress. She chose the bareback option, which was also my first choice. The dress fit perfectly, accentuating my toned physique. I paired it with nude heels and Angela did my makeup, opting for a smoky eye and rich red lipstick. I finished the look with teardrop-shaped earrings.
As I descended the stairs, I felt confident and stunning. J
