The sounds of screaming interrupted what Sloane was about to say that she looked around noticing girls rushing towards the front door "what's going on" violet asked no one in particular while Sloane continued to stare at the direction more girls were rushing to.

"What's wrong babe" Sebastian asked to which she shook her head

"It's nothing" she could already guess what was causing the commotion or who was causing it. She had totally forgotten that he too would be back today from the competition, well she did not forgot,she decided not to dwell on it and placed it at the back of her mind.

"Oh my God, Nathaniel is back" A girl near them screamed startling Sloane a bit.

"What the f**k is wrong with them" she couldn't believe they were going crazy over a guy, especially that guy.

"Do you want to head to class Sloane,you know how you get when you see him" violet asked with a frown on her face

"How does she f*****g get when she sees him" Sebastian turned towards her with a glare on his face which violet wasn't expecting.

"Well,you know she doesn't like him very much and he annoys her a lot and..."

"And what... Why should she be affected by some other guy apart from me" he glare had turned into scowl which frustrated her a bit as she could not understand why he was being affected by her words. Yh, he is Sloane girlfriend but he is her best friend and... he wasn't like this earlier.

" But it's not like you don't know how they react when they see each other"

"And how do they react uh" he then faced Sloane who wasn't paying attention to either of them.

She was staring right ahead, the girls screams were drowned out as he stepped into her view. His tall broad frame stood out in the hall, he had dark brown hair that was styled messily which contrasted with the hazel of his eyes that brimmed with intelligence. And the near perfect symmetry of his face with his well built body that showed he frequented the gym made it so hard for her to look away. He was gorgeous and handsome in a near perfect way. He exuded an aura that spoke of dominance and confidence like he was born with it. He probably was. And that arrogance and cocky confidence of his was one of the reason she loathed him and the fact that she was staring at him infuriated her the more

Why was she staring at him?

And how could someone look so perfect and annoying at the same time.

He is staring at her right now.

As he made his way across the hall,his eyes were pinned on her, she couldn't hear what Sebastian was saying,all her focus was on Nathaniel who was now standing in front of her. His hazel eyes grazed over her face and that damn smile that she hated so much, he knew she hated it, graced his face and God how she hates it.

"I thought it would take a while for you to return back to school" she blinked and then realized he wasn't talking to her but Sebastian. His gazed moved from her and landed on Sebastian who was glaring at him.

"Well, as you can see I came to meet my girl" he wrapped his arm around her waist and placed a kiss on her cheek "my babe missed me a lot so I had to see by her"

"So you did not miss her"

"Huh, what the f**k are you implying" Sloane asked glaring daggers at him at what he was implying.

"You said 'she missed you' not 'we missed each other' " he asked innocently like he did not find his question offensive

Did he just ignore her, like the f**k!

"And besides, shouldn't she be the first person you attend to..." he said and glanced at violet who eyes widened a bit and tensed up. Sloane finally moved her gaze from Nathaniel and stared at Sebastian who had a weird expression on his face and then at violet who was now a bit pale. She then frowned and looked at Nathaniel, she guess her hunch was right when she felt something was wrong between them a while ago.

"I have no idea what you're talking about" Sebastian said to which brought a mischievous to Nathaniel's face. They both stared at each other,the tension between getting thicker that the students around the hallway created some distance from them.

"That's enough seb" Sloane said placing her hand on his cheek "let's head to class"

"I had almost forgotten you were here cupcake" he finally looked at her with a cheeky grin on his lips.

"Don't f*****g call me that" she glared at him " you f*****g ignored me..."

"Ohhh" his voiced turned an octave lower and she hated that she was affected by it "I didn't know you missed me that much cupcake"

" I said don't call me that,and I never said I missed you so f**k it" she didn't wait to hear his response and turned towards Sebastian "let's go" she then held his hand and they left the hall.

Nathaniel stared at Sloane back as she walked further, her long wavy sandy blonde hair swayed delicately as she moved. His lips pulled into a smirk and he walked away.

When they reached Sloane and violet's class, she turned towards Sebastian who still had a scowl on his face.

"You shouldn't let him get to you like that,you know that's what he want"

" I do f*****g know that but it doesn't mean I should let him go around saying stuffs like that" he ran his hand through his hair like he was frustrated with something

"Stuffs like what?" Sloane asked to which Sebastian just stared at her before he replied "it's nothing,I will see you later" he kissed her on the lips and left for his class

'That wasn't weird...' thought Sloane as sge turned to violet who had been quiet since they met Nathaniel "are you alright?"

"Huh... Yh,I'm good. We should head inside" violet said with a forced smile

" Sure" they would talk later.
