Horace spent the night at the hospital with Hunter while she returned home to a cold evening and long night of uneasy sleep. The children had to sleep with Birdie because she was their only source of comfort at the moment. It was a sad night for the pack, for even though everything seemed to be back to normal, nothing was as it seemed. The betas, guards and gammas were walking around with frowns on their faces.
