After a hasty move, the family settled into the large palace-like mansion that Birdie had constructed because her wolf demanded it. A queen cannot live in a shack. Her house is an additional symbol of her authority, so the mansion was built on the opposite side of Midrand city park. They would have to share the woods, but given the fact that she had saved the life of their Luna, they would not mind. Adam was having the time of his life, running around the mansion and touching everything. The white walls were adorned with paintings of different wolves throughout history.
