Chapter 26 A strong, chemical smell pervaded his system as he opened the door. He squinted at the sudden burst of light that invaded his eyes. When his eyes finally adjusted to the light, he could hardly believe what he saw. The whole place was a mess. In the middle of the lab was a wooden pole.
