The alarm bell rang loud and clear, spreading the news of the upcoming attack to even the most distant parts of the towers, yet nobody waited for the warning. Ever since the king’s orders were given a few hours prior, they were efficiently followed. Everybody had taken their assigned positions, followed the plan, and waited, ready to defend the city nearby while its citizens were safely evacuated. It didn’t matter if they were human, demons, or elves, all would be protected. The demon army wouldn’t fail another time to do their duty, they wouldn’t retreat and escape the way they did in the Underworld, too much was at stake now.
