Cath Red was nowhere to be found. Cath had come back to their cabin a little before dawn only to find the narrow bed empty. The words they had spoken to each other, the hurt in the demon’s eyes and the burn of his possessive kisses still lingered on Cath’s lips. But the call of the creature which crawled inside him was only getting louder and louder with every day and Cath couldn’t afford to risk Red’s safety and the safety of all the people on this ship by staying next to him. Even now, as he fought every step of the way, Cath felt each word, each touch he shared with Red as a betrayal towards the demon. Because the f*****g wraith listened and tormented Cath with images of these encounters later. They took them and twisted them, and made them evil, ugly. It had gotten to the point where
