CHAPTER TWO

" a party?" he replied.

" I thought you were showing me around?" I asked.i just arrived and am attending parties already.

I'm not even dressed for a party, I wore a yellow off shoulder top with a blue jeans and a white Snickers.

" but am not dressed for a party" I said almost immediately.

He looked at me which was more of checking me out then he smiled.

it was more of a smirk,damn! he is hot.

" what? you shouldn't be checking your " sister" out like that you p*****t" I said.

" I just want to prove that you are gorgeous already no need for over dressing" he replied.

" wait, did he just say over dressing?"

" hey nelson I don't over dress,if you have an idea of who you are talking to right now you won't be saying all this" I replied and got down from the car.

He got down too and Locked the car then I looked around.

The party was lit as teenagers were all over the place, some drinking, some making out and the rest swimming.

I turned to him " I hate you for this " I said and started walking away.

" have fun" he chuckled.

I groaned and moved inside even though I don't know where I was going and I don't know anyone here.

I hate parties like this because I was always the highlight of parties back home. I was always invited to any top notch party and now am surrounded by freaks.

I let out a sigh and sat down on the couch there.

my phone vibrated soon after I sat down and I opened it to see the headline "Melanie will be so pissed to see this" on top and then a video of Jessy and my ex making out below it.

I switched off my phone and looked up meet a pair of eyes staring at me .

" can I help you?" I asked already irritated.

He walked up to me with the smirk still visible on his face.

" hi am guessing you new in the neighborhood?" he asked.

" is it that obvious?" I asked back standing up. I am fed up the noise, the news and am a bit tired I just wanna go back home.

" did I offend you ?" I heard him ask as I took the first step.i halted but didn't turn around.

" must I answer that ?" I asked again before heading for the door.

I left the house before I remembered that nelson drove me here.

" s**t! how do I find him now , I shouldn't have agreed to come" I cursed under my breath.

" hey any problem?" someone asked from behind.

I turned to see a boy but due to it was getting dark already so I couldn't make out how he looked exactly.

" hi" I just smiled.i already feel like an i***t maybe he thinks am mad or something.

" anything wrong?" he asked again.

then I noticed the cigarette in his hand with smoke leaving from it.

" no there's no problem" I replied and he took a puff of the cigarette before saying " alright then see ya"

just then something rang on my mind " maybe I should ask him about nelson"

He was already walking away when I walked up to him,when he heard my footsteps he paused and turned around.

"can I help you ?" he asked.

" well yah,do you perhaps know nelson?" I asked.

" which nelson?" he asked.

" e.mm nelson Jones" I replied.

" yah I know him , who doesn't know him? are you his new girlfriend?"he asked. I was taken aback a little, it looks like nelson is popular here.

" no am not his girlfriend, it's just that am new here and he brought me to this s**t hole party after telling my mum we are going on a stroll" I explained.

" you hate the party? well me too" he replied.

" then what are you doing here?" I asked him and he drew in another smoke before replying.

" my sister forced me to escort her" he replied.

" do you want to get out of here?" he asked immediately.

" woah maybe you didn't hear me the first time, but I am new to this place so thank you so much I will wait for nelson here" I replied.

" you will get hella bored here, don't say I didn't warn you" he said and left.

" what was that?" I heard nelson asked approaching me.

" nice , get into the car I wanna go home" I said to him.

" already? but the fun is just starting please let's stay for another forty minutes " he pleaded.

" no I don't wanna stay" I replied.

I've had enough this night, I need to rest my head and process all this things.

" well am the driver so ,you still have to wait" he said raising the car keys up in the air after that he chuckled.

" were you a nerd in your former school? because this is a really cool party " he said suddenly and that pissed me off.

" take me home right now nelson or I will call my mum" I yelled. people passing looked at us,the girls blushed at nelson.he winked at them and I rolled my eyes.

" take me home nelson this party is bullshit" I added.

" fine let's go but first let me say goodnight to someone " he said and I groaned.

" open the car first my legs hurts " I said.

He opened the car and I sat down then he left.

" Gimme thirty minutes I will be back" he had said before going.

I stayed in the car and just then my mind wondered off to how school will be.

" will I still get my position as the queen of the School?"

I looked out the window to see two girls gossiping about something or rather someone.

"Kelly has officially become nelson's girlfriend" the first girl said.

" she is very lucky, do you know how much I have put into just for him to notice me but still nothing " the second one said.

" I heard she had s*x with him first before he chose her, am not that desperate" the other one said.

" girlie you ain't serious yet, am ready to give him body if it means I will have just a dinner with him" the second one replied.

" who the f**k is this nelson?" I asked in my head.

I rested my head on the head rest and shut my eyes.

I waited for nelson but I didn't see him so angrily I got down from the car and moved in.

there is now music so everywhere was so noisy.i love parties, I've attended tons of parties but uninvited ones are not really my type.just then I saw a girl so I asked about nelson and she pointed the living room.

" thanks" I said before moving towards nelson.

they were playing cards with a girl sitting on his lap.they were giggling and chatting which was very irritating to me.

" nelson!!" I called and just then the music ended.

" nelson!!" I yelled again and all of them turned to me.

with everyone now staring he stood up.

" is this the goodnight you wanted to say?" I asked with a very straight face.i could hear their murmurs.

" who is she?"

" why is she yelling at nels?"

" she is very pretty though"

" is she nelson's real girlfriend or what?"

they kept murmuring but the girl's face was red already.

All eyes were on us,the three of us to be specific.

"Wow this is getting surprisingly interesting, I love melodramas" I chuckled in my mind.
