FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL
"Mel aren't you done?" Ben yelled from out
" coming!!!" I yelled back.
I was staring at my reflection then I heaved a sigh.
" I hope it's nice" I said out loud before leaving my room.
" honey see your breakfast on the counter" mum said and I sat down to eat the toast bread and milk.
" you seem nervous baby" mum said watching me from the kitchen.
" no am not" I replied immediately.
Brian came down and Ben followed him.
" you are still having breakfast? I will be late for my project" Brian whined.
" sorry I will just saying,I don't mean to rush you ,dad will take me instead " he replied and left.
I finished my food and went outside.
" finally the queen is here" nelson teased from inside the car.
I opened the front door and entered.
" I can't reply you at the moment" I just replied.
he drove out.
" we are here " he said after he had packed the car.
I got down and adjusted the outfit.
" come I will excort you to your school" I said to Ben.
" I will come too" nelson said immediately.
I turned to him
" no we are good" I replied holding Ben.
" Mel let him follow him I think it will make a nice impression" Ben spoke out.
" fine let's go" I said after glaring at nelson.
he smirked and we left.
Thirty minutes later we were there so I introduced Ben to his homeroom teacher before leaving with nelson.
" you are a cute boy Ben" his homeroom teacher had complimented before I left.
" so which class are you in ?" he asked.
"11B" I replied.he chuckled
" well, lucky you I have a friend there so I can tell him to take care of you " he said and I paused.
" I don't bloody need your help nelson" I said and continued walking.
" you do,do you know how many girls wishing for this your position?" he asked.
" I don't really care, just please stay out of my life in this school " I replied.
he raised his hands in surrender with a nice smile.
" sorry queen " he whispered in my ear and I heard people gasp.
that was when I realized that we are already in the hallway.
" what kind of entrance is that?" I yelled in my head.

" she is hot"
" she sure is new cos am tripping already "

I heard the guys say.
" who is she?"
" I love her outfit"
" is she nelson's girlfriend?"
" who is the newbie?"
I heard from the girls.
" people are drooling, queen" nelson said in a whisper with a flirting chuckle.
" what's your locker number?" he asked.
" 56" I replied.
" come on let me show you" he said and I followed him while everyone's eyes followed us.
" why are they staring at me like that?" I asked finally.
my old school they don't stare like this.
" well, you should ask why they are staring at us not you alone" he started.
" am very charming and popular so the girls are jealous while the boys are amazed."he completed.
" here is your locker" he said.
" thanks now get lost" I said opening the locker.
" how ungrateful" with that he left.
I opened the locker and packed my books inside it with me bag pack.
I headed to class after that.
I entered the class and they all turned to me.
" nice ,they are all weirdos" I said in my head before moving to an empty seat.
After settling down, a girl tapped me from the back.
" hey umm the guy that stays here doesn't like people especially girls that's why this chair is always empty" she said.
" thanks though but he needs to make an adjustment" I replied.
" girl I love your accent" the girl said and I smiled.
" am bliss and you?" she asked.
" Melanie" I replied.
" cool welcome to valley high" she said and I faked a smile.
" thanks" I replied.
" but seriously Melanie, Freddy will freak out if he meets you here" she continued.
" don't worry about it." I replied.
luckily she stopped talking and I concentrated on preparing for my first lesson.
" who are you?" someone asked standing in front of me.
" so it's the Freddy" I said in my mind.
I looked up to see the boy.
He has curly hair brown in color, his face is round but tender. he looks like a bookworm.
he is tall with glasses.
" I asked a question?" he repeated.
" and I heard you, am your new seat mate" I replied looking at him.
his facial expression dropped and he looked nervous.
" but I told the homeroom teacher I didn't want a seatmate?" he asked but more to himself.
" does he know you are here?" he asked me.
I rolled my eyes like jeez it's this some kind of interview of something.
" go ask him yourself man" I replied.
" you are rude" he said turning to leave before the man came in.
" class I see you have met the new student, her name is Melanie please treat her nice" he said.
" treat her nice? she is not a baby sir" a boy said and they laughed.
" why don't you shut your dirthole up" I replied and everywhere went quiet.
" hey watch your language" the teacher said.
" sorry" I replied.
" none of you should try messing with me alright I can send you all to hospital if I get pissed" I added.
they were looking at me now.
" well that's true class she has a very dangerous anger issues so please avoid her" the homeroom teacher said.
" if you have anymore questions just come to my office, kelvin? assist her" he said.
" emmm sir she needs to leave this seat" the boy Infront of me spoke up.
" am so sorry Freddy but there is no more seat so please make adjustments" the man replied.
" have you heard it Freddy?" I asked with a smirk.
" you are a crazy girl" he said and sat down.
" Freddy is so lucky and the dude is afraid of girls" someone said and they laughed.
" who gets afraid of girls" I asked myself.
later the first teacher entered.
she taught history for like an hour and left.
Freddy was just behaving like am some virus or something.
I was the least bothered anyways.
well before I knew it was break time.
I packed my. books and stood up.
" you care if I join you?" bliss asked standing too.
" ofcourse I care alot" I yelled in my head.
I smiled at her before replying
" ofcourse not"
" come on let's go" she said leading the way.
" the school is filled with assholes Melanie and you need to be popular to adapt" she said.
" are you popular?" I asked.
if she says no then I am really ditching her tomorrow.
" yes, am a cheerleader" she replied.
I love cheerleading, I was the leader in my old school.
" wow, seriously?" I asked and she nodded.
" you seem happy about it,you wanna join?" she asked.
" I was the leader of cheerleaders in my former school"I answered.
" we are here Mel , oh wait can I call you that?" she asked and I smiled.
" I prefer Melanie though but you can" I replied.
" so this is the cafeteria " she added as we move inside.
" come let's order food" she said taking me to food ladies.
" hi ma'am" she greeted the lady and she flashed her a smile.
" she is pretty, is she your friend?" the woman asked.
" yah she just started" she replied.
" so what do you want to order girl?" the lady asked me.
" I will take.........." a hand wrapped around my shoulder.
I turned to see him staring at me.
