He’d then be able to reach out to her through etheric portals that were closed when he was in normal states of being. He would send his awareness on flights out-of-body to hover near her. He’d shoot laser beams of affection through wormholes in hyperspace — directly into her suffering heart. He’d listen to the slightest ripples on the ether to pick up the cries and whispers of her volatile moods.
And at those rare times she was experiencing an epileptic seizure, his mighty sage self would sit on her chest while holding her shoulders to the floor in a protective vice grip until her gyrations ceased.
