"What do you like about my sister ?"

Melissa said with a glare.
Orion nodded vehemently and thought about her question.
"W-Well, I like her straightforwardness and gentleness I-I guess."
Orion stuttered in the end as he noticed that he was saying embarrassing words.

"A-Are your parents gentle with princess Evelyn ?"

Melissa froze at his question.

Seeing the stunned expression of Melissa, Orion quickly apologized. He just asked curiously, as he was sad for Evelyn.
Melissa recovered and shook her head.
"You deserve to know, I guess."

"My brother and sister had peculiar eyes. It can be extremely powerful in a fight. It was said to be a gift from our goddess Noctria."
Orion was shocked, their white eyes were not just there for nothing after all.
"Unfortunately, only my brother awakened its power while my sister didn't."

Melissa was sad but she could understand Evelyn.

Orion gave his opinion.
He felt like Evelyn thought that Bryan and Melissa supported her parents, that's why she avoided them.

He wanted to ask Princess Myriam for a dance but Andrew beat him to it.
The most shocking thing was Princess Myriam happily accepting with a blush! He had known her for years ago, so he was obviously frustrated when a new guy came and took her in front of him.
He didn't want to stand pathetically so he decided to ask his sister. He wasn't in the right mood to entertain any other person.
Turning around, he tried to call out to her but he froze.

Liana, whose mood wasn't that good after seeing Orion with the siblings of the Nychterin Empire, tried to walk off from the place.
Unfortunately, the nobles and heroes would come to speak to her. They all asked what happened to Orion.
Liana knew that such people would come or, rather, she waited for them. If she said from her own mouth that there was nothing between her and Orion anymore, they would leave him alone.

Jordan just reached out his hand.
Liana knew she couldn't escape any of them so she chose the better of the two.
Before the shocked expression of Arnold, Liana took Jordan's hand. He thought she had opened her heart before, but it was just him daydreaming.
Liane chose Jordan over Arnold because she was still angry at Arnold for how he spoke to Orion. Though she left, she heard everything he said.
The two ignored Arnold and bypassed him. Jordan kept his arrogant face, but if you looked closely it was a more arrogant expression than before.
Soon they started to dance and it attracted quite a lot of attention. They were really a beautiful couple after all. A very handsome man and a great beauty.
"You made the right choice."
Jordan suddenly spoke.
"I had my reasons."
Liana shook her head. She didn't have a great image of Jordan either, after all.
"I'm not talking about this trash prince."

"I'm talking about you, getting rid of Orion."

Liana's body shivered and stopped moving but Jordan led her perfectly.
"You finally opened your eyes and realized that he was useless, huh?"
Each of his words stabbed her deeply. It was like she became Orion's friend just in the hope that he could be useful one day.
"Some may think you have been cruel towards him..."
Jordan said, glancing at three people in particular.
Liana followed his gaze and saw Austin, Elena and Anna.
Austin was disappointed in Liana, while Elena and Anna were angry.
"But I would say smart is a better word instead of cruel and...I don't dislike this kind of girl."
Jordan finished with a smile.
Unfortunately for him, Liana was even more shaken than before and couldn't even reply.
