Salazar

"Oh ? We have a little rat there." Orion felt his heart stop when he heard the voice from behind. Turning around, he saw a middle-aged person and an old man. But his vision was blurry from tears and pain. "What ?! Did he hear all we said ?!" "Yeah." "You should have noticed him !" The old man shouted. "Oh yes, I noticed him but it was more fun to let him hear everything." Salazar smiled wickedly. "Even if he is useless, he is still a hero, Salazar." The old man warned him but Salazar shook his head. "Don't worry, I will take care of him." Saying that, Salazar approached Orion, who was trying to run away. 'Why...? Why...? Why?!' Orion cursed while staggering in the hallway. Whoosh! Whack! Following a sharp pain in his neck, Orion felt his consciousness fade. Thud! "What are you going to do, Salazar?!" The old man panicked. "Even if you are the vice-commander of the Solaria army, you will not come out of this unscathed!" "I said don't worry, you will never see him again, Baino." Salazar replied, looking at the fainted Orion. *** Aura was waiting with her friends in a corner of the hall. She danced with a few guys, classmates or nobles just for formality. If she had to stay in this world, she must show a good image. But she quickly felt uncomfortable with the weird gazes of her dance partners so she stopped after a few ones. "Sigh...I'm tired. When will it end ?" Noemi complained, feeling tired. "Yeah, and there are still guys coming over there to ask for a dance..." Maeva shook her head. She found that the boys of her class had become more bold since coming into this world, but in a bad way unfortunately... On Earth, they wouldn't even think of approaching them because of Aura's background. Her father was a world famous actor while her mother was an archaeologist. But the first time some guy tried to force himself on her, Aura's mother came into the school and punched the guy in front of the school. The man was sent flying a few meters away... Since then, they have never dared to do anything too disrespectful to her, but in this world her parents were unfortunately not there. Aura stood up. "I will have a drink. Do you want something ?" She asked her friends. "Just water!" "Same, thanks." Aura nodded and walked toward a long table where several people behind were serving drinks. Bump! But as she walked, she collided with someone else. "Ah! I'm sorr...!" She wanted to apologize but as soon she saw who it was, she froze. "Oh Aura, are you okay ?" Ryan asked with a smile. Aura's expression turned icy. Without answering, she walked past him. But Ryan came in front of her. "Move, I don't want to talk to you." Aura glared at Ryan. "Come on, Aura. Are you still angry about that ? It was a joke!" Ryan said in a playful tone. "Stop lying Ryan, it wasn't a joke to me and you haven't even apologized since then" Aura replied still coldly. "We were just children, it's nothing!" "It was just six years ago, Ryan, and you did that with obvious ill-intentions towards me. If not for...?" Suddenly, Aura blanked out in the end. "If not for ? Steve, if I remember, only an i***t like him would play the prince with you, huh ?" Ryan said with a smirk. Aura was disgusted by Ryan and quickly walked past him. Ryan looked at her back with a creepy smile. He wanted to see her angry expression more but it was okay. He already had his fill with Orion's distraught face. *** Aura, whose mood worsened after talking to Ryan, stomped the ground as she walked. "How dare he..." Aura was angry that he insulted Steve right in front of her. "He hasn't changed a bit since before..." Aura murmured. Just remembering his creepy smile chilled her. Thud! Aura bumped into someone again. "Again you?!" Thinking that it was Ryan again, she shouted. "Excuse me?" "Eh ?" Looking up, she saw a handsome middle-aged blond-haired man in armor. "Ah! I-I'm sorry I thought it was someone else..." Aura quickly apologized, embarrassed. "No, Milady. It was also my fault. My apologies, Lady Aura." The man bowed elegantly and smiled. Any woman would have blushed but Aura was confused. "You know my name ?" "Of course, who wouldn't know one of the greatest and prettiest heroes of the otherworld." He replied flatteringly. "Um. Who are you sir ?" Aura was embarrassed by his flattery, so she asked a question. "Oh pardon my rudeness." The man said before putting his right fist on his chest. "Vice-commander of Solaria Imperial Army, Salazar Solaria." Salazar said with a gentle smile. "Vi-Vice-commander ?! Solaria ?!" Aura shouted in surprise. They all turned toward her and saw a handsome man in his mid-twenties with Aura. "You took your time, Salazar." A displeased voice rang out near the Emperor. It was a black-haired man in his fifties. His whole body breathed out great power. There was no doubt that he was extremely strong. Salazar plastered an apologetic smile and replied. "My apologies, chief-commander, I was resolving a quarrel between nobles." "Dante, let my brother breathe at least today, ahahah." The Emperor intervened for Salazar. "Yes. Your Majesty." The black-haired man, Dante, relented. "Have you finished your work, brother?" Helio asked with a brotherly smile. Salazar wanted to throw up but replied in a happy tone. "Yes, your Majesty. We took care of the hideout of the bandits." "Good then. Come, you have to introduce yourself with the others to the heroes."
