"You haven't?!" Eiran blocked her hands and swept both boxes towards himself. "Why don't you leave them here for me? I have a meeting later in the afternoon, these will go perfect with coffee for the guests."
Alyna didn't agree immediately. She hesitated because she spent an entire day looking forward to tasting them. But the fact that Eiran wanted to serve them as snacks to his guests did brighten up her mood.
She eventually nodded in agreement and carefully placed the donuts in the pantry for later. She returned looking happier than she left.
