The teammates welcomed Alyna after her short break with smiles. Only Ellie showed her a pocket mirror and passed a tissue.
"What's that's on your face? Wipe it off." She said.
Alyna saw an embarrassing amount of muffin crumbs and chocolate stains all over her lips. She hastily wiped it off and thanked her.
"No problem." Ellie threw the mirror in her bag. "Distracted?"
"A bit."
"Is it because of the border news?" Astra asked, looking up from her shoelaces.
Alyna snapped her gaze on her, "Border news?"
"You don't know?" Richard hopped over. Eloise also joined in. Their little group gathered around to discuss the border news.
