The Beta's Visit

Vermin The maid came in with the tray of foodies, the smell of heaven clouded the room. Yet to me it was only something more satiable to the watching eyes than to a waiting stomach. She wore a piece of clothing which only covered the upper half of her body, hovering just beneath her full breasts and leaving her tiny waist to the marvel of his sight. Her skirt only reached a quarter to the length of her thighs, and the rest of her skin glittered for a shower of attention. None of this was able to draw my attention. I could only think of one thing - Yeneffer, and her father Adrian Bianco which I was meant to arrest. "What are you thinking about?" I felt her warm touch on my chest. Everyone knew Lysandra to be a vicious and dangerous lady but when it came to me, she became as gentle as a dove and as caring as a goddess. "Don't you like the food? Or is it the maid?" She stared at the poor girl, half dressed and half naked to make me happy, acting on Lysandra's orders. "I can have her removed and killed if she displeases you." The girl trembled on her feet and the tray of foodies shivered with her, threatening to put her in more trouble. Lysandra would do anything to please me, killing a few slaves was nothing to her. She had a reputation for her meanness, a reputation so huge that she was able to impress the alpha, my father. Father found Lysandra's character more lovable than any other woman in the Sunfyre pack. She was the best match for me, he said. A girl who would rule beside me, who would take the necessary decisions no matter how hard they were. A woman who would destroy anything that stood in the way of glory, strong, powerful and never a weakness. Father chose Lysandra for me to mate, not that I had any such feelings for her. "It is not about her. Let her be." The shivering maid was drenched in relief when I said that. "Out of here." Lysandra commanded and off she scurried. She dared not stay in there another minute. When we were alone, Lysandra jumped on my bare body, striking her lower parts to recapture my pleasure. She stroke and she stroke, the bed shook and it shook. When she saw I did not play along, she was confused. "Is this because of that man? Adrian Bianco or what was his name?" It was partly because of Adrian Bianco, but it was more because of his daughter Yeneffer Bianco. My mind had been settled around her only. For some reason, I was angry today when I saw how Lysandra treated her. Of course, Lysandra's treatment of slaves was not new to me, still my body ached up severally for no reason that I could explain. Yeneffer's identity was a secret I was meant to keep but how could I do that if her thoughts would not leave me be? "I know how you can capture him." Lysandra continued. "I am sure he has family. People he cares about like all of them weaklings do. Children? You lived with his family, I'm sure you know whom his children are. They must be one of these slaves we took from their stupid pack. If you want now, I can take you to their slave quarters and line them up in front of you. I am sure you will find a daughter of his..." "No." I interrupted. Lysandra learning about Yeneffer would be the worst thing to ever happen. "No, Adrian Bianco has no daughter." "Doesn't he?" Lysandra shook her head. "The stories I have heard..." "False stories." I interrupted again. "His daughters died a long time ago. I made sure of it." She retreated in eventual acceptance yet I could still see doubts printed on her face. Then she spoke again. "What about her? That new b***h who dared to cross me, what were you saying to her?" It was not possible. Lysandra saw me with Yeneffer? But I was careful, I made sure nobody saw me talking to her. How come she even knew about it? "I gave her a firm warning. If she dares to go against her mistress again, I will make her suffer pains she would never be able to endure." I did not allow the spread of suprise to be prevalent on my face. "Awwnn" an ingenuine blush. "But you told her all that before, remember? At the pool. What is the need to threaten a slave twice when you can just punish the second time?" I knew that look on her face. The look of suspicion. It observed me with scrutiny. It spoke in riddles and it spoke loud. "Do you..." She allowed me to catch on. "What? No way!" "It looks as though you like her though." Lysandra pushed further. "There was this way you looked at her. I did not like it." "I have no feelings for a slave like her." Especially since she was the daughter of Adrian Bianco, my father's sworn enemy. Why would I entertain feelings for such filth? It would be a taint to the name of our pack and to the legacy of my father. "I would rather die." I uttered and I saw the satisfaction spread across her eyes. "Good. Because if not, then I would make sure she dies." Just then, someone came to the door. A guard of the slave island, he rushed in bearing an important message. "What is it?" Lysandra demanded, she was interrupted of her foreplay skills when the man arrived. "An important message. From your father." The man handed a letter as he bent on one knee. Climbing off from top of me and from top of the bed, Lysandra hurried. It had been a long time since she spoke with her father, Beta Derek. Reading through the letter for very few seconds, she turned her gleam at me. A smile was on her face. "Father... He's coming here!" She announced. I didn't blame her for being happy. Beta Derek barely ever found time to come to the slave island to visit his wife and his daughter because of his duties at the capitol. He was the most trusted pack leader that my father had, and he barely ever leaved father's side. For Lysandra, his sudden presence was good news. For me, it was not. "Your father must not find me here." I mentioned. She knew the reason too. I was supposed to be out in the human city, searching for Adrian Bianco, not laying with his daughter on a mega sized bed. If he knew about this, father would too. And some people would be happy with my failure, my brother most especially. "But you can tell him that you traced Adrian Bianco to this Island, can't you?" I shook my head in the negative. Derek Marble was a very smart man, he could not be deceived easily. If I stayed, it wouldn't be long before he found out about Yeneffer. The things he could do to her, terrible things. Somewhere in my heart, I would never allow such to befall her. "Find me Darius. We are getting out of here as soon as possible."
