She looked at her kids as she was hugging them. She tried not to cry having gotten her oldest back just this month. She didn’t mean to take so long but she did. She just couldn’t find her on time before they moved the camper. Her oldest was asleep as she saw the bruises that were on her body. Her eyes turned into a small storm as the rain started to fall from her eyes. She knew that she made the mistake of calling them her children as she didn’t want this to happen to any of them as she saw her youngest get closer to her oldest. She looked up as she saw the oldest of the dead that were protecting them before they got home. He gave her a piece of paper as she said to him. Do you think I should leave them? I mean the little time that they were with me they almost got eaten or killed. She looked at them as the second oldest hugged her tighter as she hugged youngest tighter. They should have stayed with the people who actually could take care of them. She told them as she looked at her kids and told them. I mean she grew weight and she looks healthier than him and me. She said as she looked back at the older dead. She should have stayed. She whispered as she looked down at her kids. She grabbed both of them as tightly as she could as she saw the rest of the dead come around as they were in the trunk of a car. She looked up and at them, as she was crying even more now than she was before. They each had a piece of paper with them as they gave them to her and left. She held her children as she read them. She cried because of the notes.
You might be their real mother for neither of them. But you care for all of us and you care for them. And for me, that counts as we don’t get as much love as these kids get from you. You play with the oldest as she was your daughter. You play and treat the youngest as if he were your son. To us, you are a pack. To us, you are their mother. -
We don’t know how they feel but with us your pack. And we are not just saying this because of the leader. No, we are saying this because of what we see. And we see pack. There is not a person on this planet that can take care of those kids better than you. We can lose pack but we can’t lose you. -
She was not okay when you were not home. She almost lost the kid and almost lost herself when you were not home. So if anybody that they can say was their mother and ours in this hell hole. You can’t leave. Not right now maybe in the future but not now. Please stay. Plus back home there is a surprise for you when you come back. -
