The Next Morning
Waking up to see that she was right when she opened her backdoor and went inside her home, she saw that she was robbed of almost everything the blankets that she had put on her window were now on the ground. A dead human body was near the underground housing storage that the owner of the house has but is blocked by a fake garden. When she realized that somebody knows where they are staying, she made sure to have a backup plan before everything went to s**t. She always made sure to make a backup plan after all the s**t she went through during the experiment.
So that is where she went. She sent the kids out first and went herself last. Letting the kids get comfortable in her arms and then right when her kids went to sleep, she heard the door be forced open, and then the screams of the people of whoever went inside her home get eaten alive by the dead. But how did the dead get through the alcohol? That was her main focus of finding out since she knew that they hate the smell of alcohol. At least that is what the CDC had told them. Holding on to her kids so that they know that no one is taking them from her.
Her family and her kids. She said as she held them as she sighed as she looked at them and thought to herself. They are her reason for staying so she has to stay and she can’t risk anything happening to them so that she can keep them safe. Even if that means from her. She felt her kids snuggle in tighter and she held them tighter. Hoping that she was wrong. She will only get to see what happened tomorrow.
Looking inside the house and seeing what he caused he put his head down. It is not your fault Nelson. You thought he was a good guy so did I? The oldest told the youngest. As she saw his sad face as she was looking through the stuff that was left in the home. He was grabbing some stuff with her drawings that she had forgotten about. He saw a drawing of a person that the oldest wrote something in it. As they went inside the house to see what they took and what they have left.
But why our house? Asked the second oldest. Somehow, they knew what we had thanks to me? The second oldest said as she looked down at her hands as she thought Why Thanks to you? Said the second oldest as the oldest looked at her and sighed as she said. I had a list of things that we needed for the house in my backpack.
Looking for something that can be eaten by them. Then she checked the one place she was hoping would not get robbed. Opening the medicine cabinet that the oldest has and told her. They took your medicine. s**t said the oldest.
Dropping the last bag that she checked to grab another one. Running out of the backdoor and jumped into the place that they stayed last night looking for any backups that she could possibly have. f**k! After seeing that she has no backups whatsoever. She knows that she is screwed without her backups. They helped her seizures and what they did to her.
The Afternoon
From the outside, the youngest was too scared to even go in. I never saw her this mad. They both said at the same time. Then one just looked up and the other looked down and laughed. Why are the two of you laughing? When she pushed herself up since she knocked over the stairs when she jumped down. Help me. Her upper body was on the floor due to two heavy backpacks and blankets she had on.
Help me! She said, trying not to laugh at herself. Dragging her out of the hole only to see that she had extra stuff on her. Why so much stuff? Asked the youngest, putting his head to the side with a carious face. Vitamins for you and Vicky, she said once inside with the help of the kids. Some anxiety pills for me. Why anxiety pills though? Asked the second oldest. They took my medicine.
And if they took the ones that control whatever they put inside of me. And you are the reason why there were so many positive results? The second oldest asked her. I guess you can say that. Looking up at the kids and seeing that they looked down and low on energy. Who wants to play a game? She asked her kids. What game! Both of her youngest said.
Evening
Okay, what else is on the list? He asked the second oldest as he was looking for more stuff around on the ground. A math book. Why would we need a math book? And how are we going to find a math book when she told us not to go inside the houses. The second oldest was asking herself which caused her to take her eyes off the younger and then she heard screaming.
She ran around the corner of the block; she felt the weight of the backpack on her back due to all the stuff that she was carrying and saw the younger on the floor and seeing a dog pulling the dead off the younger she ran to grab the younger. She checked and doubled checked if he was alright. The younger held onto her and told her.
“I wasn’t scratched.”
Holding the younger tighter to her and seeing the sun setting and realized that the time change was coming up faster than they wanted it to come. She ran to the nearest house and ran to the nearest closet and grabbed every clothes that were in there and grabbed the alcohol that was inside her bag and threw it around the closet wall and floor. She then realized that the only one that can fit was the younger.
She put the younger in the closet and told him that she would be in the other closet and to make sure that he does not come out, he hears her tell him to come out. She grabbed the other alcohol, and she did the same to the other closet and she went inside just in time for the sun to set.
That is when the screeching happened. That is when she knew that she and the younger wandered too far because back at her new home there was only screaming not screeching. The younger one was under the wet clothes. They hid till the sun came up.
The older was currently in her home and waiting for them to come home when she saw the sun setting. She knew she would have to look for the children in the morning. She had no other choice but to close the door and close the bathroom door, get in the bathtub, and hug her bat.
With tears in her eyes, she heard the shrieks. And trying not to think of that day. That day still scares her of the way that they treated him. They treated them.
/ Wake up! Get startled by the loud voice and get down to help the youngest out of bed who was being trained late last night. Hugging him closer to her and getting pulled into a car. Still having him close to her and she felt the car moving. She put the kid on the seat and checked why they closed them off from the front. When she opened the front glass only to see the side of a cliff. She was going back to the kid when the kid woke up. Just in time for the car to land in the water.
The kid was thrown to the front, and she saw the front part of the car. She pushed the kid in front of her and pulled on the door. She felt water on her feet. Alex! It is breaking! She went to the other side and helped him break the glass. Hold your breath! Punching it on last time and swimming out of their first she turned back to see the kid swimming with her. They swam till they felt sand on their feet. Alex? Turning around she saw that the kid had been killed and multiple soldiers were around them. Help me! Help him! Unknown to her the kid was given the virus and put to sleep. She then heard the screech behind her when she was screaming for help. Her hands were on the floor and rising behind her was dead.
