The Next Morning Waking up in their room that they share with another family she saw the sunshine brighter than she had ever seen before ever since they got in here at least and she saw that she was awake before her cousin which is something new for her. Getting off their shared bed she put on her slippers and walked to the closest that is for her and her younger cousin. She heard a groan. And she turned around. Hey, she said softly to her younger cousin. I was dreaming of the day that they took her to the base. She sighed as she touched her cousin’s cheek as he looked at her and she smiled a sad smile at him. That was a horrible day. She told him. I hate this wall. He said as he went back to the bed when he was going back to sleep he heard on his walkie. Soldier Diaz?! Come in, we need you in Door Five now! That caused her younger cousin to run out of the room. He always sleeps with his boots on nowadays which sadness her he is just thirteen. Running out of the house with no shoes on and blood on her body with her bat in her hand. Looking behind her she saw the dead getting up and started running after her. She ran as fast and as far as she could. Her heart pounding in her chest as she was trying to find her kids. Looking behind her she saw that it was Mister Han, the same dead that the soldier made her kill when she was in that hell. She screamed No! And ran faster as she fell when she was about near her escape plan she had with her children. She woke up in her bathtub once again. She jumped up as she looked everywhere. Her heart was pounding in her chest as she was listening to drums next to her ears. She knew it was a dream, but she could not sleep because she knew her kids were still outside. She was in hell once again. It was night (at least she thought it was night) and she did not hear any screeching which scares her. Afternoon Putting her shoes on getting outside the shared bedroom and walked out to the narrow hallway that was divided into a set of three other hallways. Medic. For those who are helping the scientist find a type of cure and find a way to control the dead. That is where she goes. Walking down to the left into the middle tube she started walking and turned to the right and went to the right once again when she heard a howl and a scream. Uh-oh! She ran to the other end of the hallway, and she saw that a nurse was begging for her lifeblood coming from her upper arm. She looked at her as she remembered what her cousin said to her as she looked at the nurse who was looking back at her as she just looked at her. /These dead are smart. She told us after another nightmare. They sat her up in her bed and she looked at her younger cousin and was about to tell him something when they heard her say. They know where to attack to make a person into one of them. She said as she sighed and looked at them. There is always going to be ahead female and male and those are the ones that you do not want to mess with. She shivered as she remembered, Those who get bitten by them have two minutes to turn. She said as she looked at the younger of her family. And if it is a male looking for a female. She looked up to her older cousin and she saw the fear in her eyes. The person is long gone. She said, and you should find cover if that happens and hope that the male does not find you. She said as she sighed and inhaled and exhaled as she said. Cause if they do, they will kill you. She said as they looked at her and she looked at them as she said once again. They have no mercy. / She ran to the other side and pushed the female nurse away from her and opened a door and closed it and pushed a red button causing the room to turn red. Military. For those who want to go outside the wall to get some dead for the Medics which her younger cousin is in. He reached the Fifth door when he came to a full stop. What is happening!? He screamed as he got his rifle from his assigned jeep. He knew that this day would happen but he didn’t want it to happen so fast. There has been a breach and one of the farmers found out about the dead that we have on their land, and they have been trying to get in with the help of the dead. He looked at his soldiers as he was thinking about the probability of that happening. He saw a dead man attack one of his soldiers. The dead man was dragging his soldier to a corner of the car. Which he turned and saw a female and a child dead. He then remembered what his sister told him. /They hunt like bees and wolves. They make sure that females and children are fed first. / Looking upfront he saw that the dead were not attacking the farmers but were attacking his fellow soldiers. It is as if they planned this. He asked himself until he saw a dead man about to attack him when he remembered what his sister said and stayed still. And the dead left. I did not think that would happen! He thought to himself as he looked at the soldiers before everything turned black. What is going on!? He screamed as he saw the whole room go red. s**t! The dead are out! Hide! He put the blood blanket on himself and the alcohol and saw through the little hole a familiar face on the horse. The Famers. But that is for the lower class or at least that is what the soldiers tell us. The walls are built to Venice beach and close to Glendale. The outer walls are built differently so that the soldiers can get in and out. The middle of the wall is where the living courts are. The hallways are containers that connect the walls. The inner wall is where the rich and wealthy life and the older people live as well and that is where they have the Medic Bay as well. Evening I cannot read the rest. He told me when he was done writing the sixth day of month one journal. Her handwriting is ridiculously hard to understand. He said as he looked at the oldest of the group as he says. What I do not understand was how she wrote down what happened inside the base. He told me. If it were written in pencil, I could translate but it is in pen. He said as he sighed and said. She was never good at writing with a pen. The oldest of the group looked at him and asked. Who are you to her? I asked him. Her cousin. He snapped back to me. What is your name then? Edwin. Last name? I asked him. She told me the last time I saw her to never tell anybody my last name. He said as his grip on the journal was getting tighter. Alright, take a break. Hey Ed? Didn’t she say something about her dogs? Another asked me. Yeah, she did, why? There are two dogs outside growling at us. Causing them to look at each other as they went to the window.
