"Papa, I don't care if Leo is the Don of the Romano family. I want to be with him, whether he is Don or an enforcer or anything else he chooses." My father smiles and the tension in my body relaxes. As much as I love my father, I know he wanted me to be Donna. It's what we were all raised to become. As much as this might disappoint him, I refuse to give up Leo over his title. "I don't think he should become the Don of the Romano family," my father says.
I look at my father in confusion. "I think he should become Don of the Rizzo family." My eyes widen, and I notice Leo stiffen out of the corner of my eye. "Don Rizzo," Leo starts to say, but my papa cuts him off. "I'm not ready to retire just yet but when I do, I would like for you and Gia to head the Rizzo family" he says.
