It was a double-page spread called ‘What’s Hot This Summer’, featuring Reuben and Celia under the palm trees, on the playground and wading out of the water as if they’d just had an invigorating dip. Jed had obviously photoshopped off Reuben’s blue-tinged goosebumps. The photos of him carrying Celia in the water were conspicuously absent.
