Epilogue:Savio Six months later. My eyes fluttered open. I scanned around the room, extended my hand, and felt around the bed. My eyes zoned in on the empty spot next to me. I reached over to the chair in the corner, snatched up my robe and boxers, and stalked to the bathroom. McKayla loved to sneak out in the middle of the night or in the early morning and work, but she’d promised to leave work at home.
