28 McKayla A week later. I finished the last edits on my story for Joseph and asked Curtis to drive me over to my job so I could chat with Joseph. Enzo was with Savio out of town on business and wouldn’t be back for a few hours. I picked up my laptop, slid it in my backpack, reached for my smoothie, and followed Curtis to the car.
