“Your Father doesn’t seem to be your favorite person,” I said nothing. Wife? I'M HIS WIFE?? I know I’m not so why was I getting so worked up. “I heard he is trying to marry you off.” He did seem like a great candidate to be my husband since Father didn’t think so. He would be an amazing choice to get rid of Father for good. “I was thinking we should get married.” What is wrong with me? Why was I thinking of marrying him? Perhaps I was too worried about my future. Yes, that was it. I was thinking of my future. God that sounds more selfish. What if I fell for him? No way this isn’t some fairytale. I can tell the difference between a movie and real life. “Don’t get me wrong, soon after we can divorce, I just think for now it’s best so we can both reach our goals.” Wait… WHAT DID HE SAY?!

“WHAT?!”

He smiled and replied:

“Cosima Kazuki Erebos, daughter of darkness and light, bringer of order from Chaos. Would I have the honor to marry you to assist in your goal to rid yourself of your father?” 

“I’m sorry I think you got the wrong person. My name is Aurora Pike, daughter of Theodore Pike.”

“Aurora? Huh? It seemed I did have the wrong person.” He slowly got up pushing himself up off the floor. He dropped back on one knee as if to purpose again.

He proceeded to ask once more:

“Aurora Pike, daughter of Theodore Pike. Would I have the honor to marry you to assist in your goal to rid yourself of your father?” 

“How do you know I wish to rid myself of Father? No, wait… why would you assume I wish to rid myself of Father.”

“Anyone can tell from the way you look at him. That is the look of fear from even the mention of him.” He had a point I did fear Father a lot. Father’s name would send shivers to my core and marriage was a way out especially if it was from my own free will. 

“Alright. Let's get married.”
