The war had ended only a few years ago and I could tell that the kingdom was still recovering, the lies spread during the war had done irreparable damage to the nation Itself, but also to the reputation of the Hyena dynasty, and while it was to be expected that

the war would bring out the worst in people; I don’t know how it came to be that so many lies about the losers would be believed as facts. But you can’t write the story if you lose the battle because the winner gets the valor and the history is written from the victors perspective. I began writing with impunity to document and preserve the truth of it all I had no dog in this fight and I was grateful it was over. And as the years passed and the text grew more and more people were able to figure out what I was intending to do. I was aware of the lies but I didn’t consider them necessary and it wasn’t until I found out why the Were Lion King believed they were necessary that I realized this text was not only necessary but was going to have to be written in complete secrecy and that I needed to also document each story and lie as well and not just so they could be understood and refuted but for a more precarious reason as well. The Were cats were looking for me and I was able to stay hidden pretty well for a scribe, but it was a matter of time before I would be found and captured. All of my kind had been rounded up and killed in the war because our powers made us too much of a threat, so my mother hid me in the Temple and the Scribes promised to keep me safe and hide my identity. The scribes denounced their abilities to shift and lived as people and on the holy land no one could shift so inside the Temple was a safe place for all.

the blessing of the land is they or anyone cannot switch from human as protection to the sacred scribes as well as keep their identities a secret no one know what type of were the scribe began as because the pledge their life to the temple denouncing their animal way and never switching in their lives even when away from the temple the people agreeing to bring them no harm away from the temple upholding the sacred nature of the role of scribe the job of the scribe is to document all of the happenings in the Kingdom making them the holders of all historic text sacred and otherwise instead of a library the temple is open to all who can read only scribes are allowed to write

this all changes 2 years after the war is won and the Lions claim victory of the Kingdom they send for the covert takeover of the temple to rewrite history in attempt to prevent another war and loss of power they take all the sacred text they can find study them and then burn them and the temple with the scribes inside changing the Blessing to a curse with the same effects they rebuild the Palace in its place using the curse to their advantage as protection to the royal family this Period is called the end of knowledge and Fact the history of the war is rewritten to appear to have been started by the hyena-men to kill off the Lion men out of jealousy and fear the lionmen are believed to have ruled the land and were betrayed by their servant the hyenamen who then ruled for centuries and then decided to facilitate the g******e of the lionmen and the other Weres of the kingdom decided to fight alongside the lion men after seeing them almost all be wiped out because of jealousy hatred and godlessness nature of the hyenamen when the war is done only one family remains the mother is barren and the father has only one son {Mufasa} they search for a female to prevent the dying off of the lionmen they find in the sacred texts a lioness cub was hidden with the scribes they capture her when she is with child they know is not barren and spare her life but when the child is born female the kill her to bury the truth of the war and the scribes for good the battle of the lastmen is the final battle of the war solidifying the g******e of the hyenamen except for a peasant family they survived the war and eventually are reunited with the remnants of their people all beaten battered and bruised an infant cub is found and he is mated with the eldest they produce a female heir but the people turn her in once she is a mother who is carrying two cubs one male and one female hidden by the surviving children of the scribes just outside of the kingdom once found the mother and the male are executed and the female cub preserved to work for the royal family as proof of the kings mercy and forgiveness of the hyenamen this is the history taught to Tiana all her life by the surviving royal family who also don't know the truth about the war and have absolutely no knowledge of the scribes as the Whales believed to be direct descendants of Mammy Wata that survived TEOKAF had set out to sea
