They were pretty good. At least for her standard, they were really players of a national tournament and were good at doing what they were good at. However, they were still lacking compared to the players who they were going to play against. But that of course wouldn’t stop her from certainly praising these men.
She could observe that their routine was not built up. It always changed, and it was like nothing really was happening with them because it was not repeated. She was glad that they had the initiative to have a practice game, it made her write a lot of things about them, most bad ones but there were still good ones.
