"Who's at the door, Hailey?" My dad yelled from the living room.
"Jia is here. I just came to fetch some pajamas, we're having a sleepover tonight. Bye, Dad. I'll call you tonight." I muttered before opening the door and slipping outside.
Kyren towered over me, his silver orbs burning into my skin. I grabbed his hand before walking over to his car.
"What are you doing here?" I asked as soon as we reached his car.
He wordlessly opened the car door and I frowned at him before hesitantly stepping into the car.
He slammed the door shut behind me before getting in on his side of the car. He sped down the road, driving straight to our suite.
