The car rolled to a stop in front of a mansion so tall and wide, Sasha couldn't see the end of it. Her mouth went dry. Her fingers fumbled with the edge of her dress as the driver came around and opened the door for her. She stepped out. The air smelled expensive. Like imported flowers and old wine. The mansion loomed ahead of her, lit up like a castle out of a nightmare. Columns of white marble stretched toward the dark sky, and a long red carpet led from the driveway to the entrance.
