Truth

Erica's pov:

               Life seemed to be beautiful since I met Peter, everything is perfect and I want it to be that way forever  even though I don't speak enough about my family he understands me and never forces me to.

                       Everything is so magical and I'm afraid if I will lose him , there's been this constant fear of always losing him, what will happen when he says he doesn't love me anymore, what if he knows that I'm a daughter of a billionaire, and what if he knows about my broken family.

           A year ago  Peter and I met his parents  Georgia and Louis for Christmas, they are so lovely and a sweet couple,it warmed my heart seeing them so in love even after years of marriage and after meeting his family and cousins I wished growing up I had a family like this.and I often feel guilty for hiding the truth from him.

           We both work in reputed companies ,  and  it is hard to keep up things and we hardly get time for ourselves in the daily chaos.but every weekend ,we take time for ourselves  to spend with eachother but I know that one day I had to return to London and take over the company and I know that it is going to happen soon , last week when I spoke to mom she said that it is really time for me to comeback and I cannot push things forever I will have to face them one day.

                    And I don't   want to rush things with Peter and I  even cannot ask him to move to London with me leaving his friends, family and career behind him. And most importantly I don't know how he is going to react when I say him the truth. And I know that things are always not going to be the same way forever they are going to be hurdles which we cannot handle but we have to stand by against them to get what we love.

                    Jake's pov:

                    At his office Jake Patterson stood staring out of his window,  his thoughts rushing in his mind  even though he  looked peaceful  his mind and heart doesn't seemed to be , disturbing his thoughts his friend entered his cabin and loudly cleared his throat to bring his attention and questioned why do you always drift off man,chill out and unlike me you have fame,money, respect in the society  and what else do you need man stop overthinking about everything Jake.

                   Turning around Jake answered his friend money and fame doesn't buy you happiness,it doesn't buy you love you craved for , and it can't make the things you don't like to unhappen, Money isn't everything, seeing Jake getting serious his friend interrupted him and said no need to get soppy and lecture  me again and I just wanted to tell you we are going for a vacation this weekend and before you say anything I have already cleared your schedule for the weekend and now your Assistant has a date so do not disturb him today and  also he cannot be attending the rest of your meetings .so handle on your boss, and miss me shouting and laughing he left the room.Looking at the disappearing figure Jake laughed calling him a sly bastard .

                    Aaron is his personal assistant and best friend and has been helping him since he became a CEO. Aaron lost his parents in a car accident and has been moving to foster home from a foster home until he escaped from one and applied for scholarships in college and has been Jake's friend ever since, and always supported Jake in his difficult times.  Aaron is funny and witty who brings joy to the people around him and Jake has been more than grateful to have Aaron by his side at all times.

              Looking at the rain drops falling and sliding down from the window he  remembered his father's words just as this rain drops sliding down and disappearing  away everything happens so quick in life and disappears untill we realize how important it is for us, so don't waste your life regretting maybe you could have done something at that time.hold on present moments and live your life fully, and when you love someone care for them, embrace the moments with them, respect them and be with them in all the difficult situations , don't give up your hope on love and most importantly on the person who believed in you and don't repeat the mistakes I made.
