Rydan was about to follow Elleryn into the room, but Yoani stands in front of him, shivering in fear, afraid that he would lash out at her for stopping him and prevent him from reaching for Elleryn, but she needs to finish the task the King has assigned her. "You need to be there, the council room," she stuttered in fear. Rydan is about to snap at her, but Ladon squeezes Rydan's shoulder, he shakes his head at him, "the King summons you, if you want Elleryn's punishment to stay as light as it is, you better follow his command," Ladon said. Rydan growls, it was his wolf just now and Ladon knows it too, his eyes glance to the room but he then turns around and walks through the hallway. He put more speed into his footstep, hurrying to the Council Room.  • • ⊱∘────·❅·────∘⊰ • • Elleryn's heart constricts in pain, trembling while she tries to approach her, she can't bear to look at her little sister, the one with clear eyes and radiant smile before, but now the only thing she can imagine is her eyes full of tears, eyebrow scrunch up in question and skin pale like the snow. Elleryn sits down by her side, eyes only able to stare at her sister's hand that rests on the bed, she bit her lips, holding her tears desperately, but a tear slip down her cheek, she wanted to wipe it away with the back of her hand, when a cold finger running through her white cheek, wiping the tears for her. Elleryn raises her head, meeting Ezana's eyes, full of tears but her eyebrow isn't scrunched up in question, instead, Elleryn sees the same beautiful radiant smile she always received from her sister. "It's not your fault," Ezana whispered. "don't blame yourself, sister. I believe Genieve is glad you are okay," she said, smiling. Elleryn held Ezana in her arms tightly, trying hard to transfer her body heat and warm up Ezana’s body, though it seems like Ezana’s the one who managed to do that, Elleryn kept crying, both of them were. "I'm sorry," Elleryn said, stroking her sister's hair. Ezana shakes her head, telling her numerous times it's not her fault. Kyzen shakes his head, a little amused at his sister's behavior at the moment. He knows Ezana will be alright, it will be hard for her, but the spirit told him that Ezana has a strong blood within her. He glances at the window right by Ezana's bedroom side, a white dragon flying around the window, smiling at Ezana and Elleryn. Feeling eyes upon her, the dragon looks at Kyzen. "Take care," Kyzen whispers and Genieve nods her head before she disappears into thin air.  • • ⊱∘────·❅·────∘⊰ • • Rydan pushes the double door and discovers the King sitting on his throne with a glass of Welle, a strong liquor from Ertellib, renowned for taking down numerous creatures with a single cup, though Rydan could find a few bottles littered the ground. Arax glances down at his son, eyes blurry and unfocused though he managed to stare at his son with raised eyebrows and face filled with disappointment.  "Come", he said, pointing his index finger to a chair right beside him. Rydan approaches his father slowly, disbelieves at the scene in front of him but at the same time a little curious of what caused him to be like this. Growing up, Arax had always been strict and prideful in front of Rydan. He shows him what a mighty ruler of every creature should do to govern rightfully above all. He shows him that a ruler should never show its carelessness or weakened state, his rigid and cold visage had already imprinted within Rydan’s brain. So now, to find him drowning himself with liquor and being in a sluggish state, Rydan couldn’t find it in himself to believe that this is the King of Suttern, this is his father.  "Leave her," Arax said.  Rydan snaps his head and stares straight at his eyes, he couldn't believe what the King has just uttered, his eyes look solemn and sad, an expression he never saw before. "You better listen or it will happen again," he said, drinking down the liquid in one gulp, but his left-hand finds the glass bottle of liquor by his side and now he begins to drink from the bottle itself. Looking pathetic in front of his son, for the first time. "No one could stand with you, they will abandon you and tarnish your name. They wouldn't care if you are the Crown Prince, and in the end, they will hurt her," he said, eyes staring right back at Rydan's. Despite the way its focused onto his eyes, Rydan could see his father somehow looking back to a past Rydan wasn’t aware of, a past Arax is currently tormenting himself over and over again.  And somehow, Rydan couldn't say anything. Because for the first time, Rydan saw tears forming in his father's eyes. "I know you have chosen your path. But think again, at least for her." Arax takes a deep breath, before he looks down at his hand, a straight line scar around his writst, that had turn faint over time, he smiles at that. "Before it's too late," he said. • • ⊱∘────·❅·────∘⊰ • • Fabin pulls Kyzen out of the room, eyes narrow at his little brother, "what book is it?" he asked. Eyes gleaming with anticipation, wanting to hear everything Kyzen knows, Fabin always thinks it's nice to be able to know stuff from the spirit, but sometimes he is scared of the spirit. Sometimes he also finds it unfortunate for Kyzen to have that ability and he always feels grateful to have an ability that doesn't concern itself with the spirit. But at a time like this, whenever Kyzen whispers and utters such a thing, he always becomes curious and wants to know every bit of detail he could hear, sometimes the feeling of knowing is powerful and quite intriguing. Kyzen smiled, "what did she tell us?" he said, reminding Fabin that he shouldn't ask such a thing from him. Fabin pouted, "the book isn't important, but I don't believe her.” Fabin's face contorted into confusion, though there’s a hidden determination of wanting to discover everything from Kyzen, he continued, “her face turns pale after you told her to use dragon-spell and she seems to think it over before she told us it's nothing important", Fabin explained, convinced there is something more than what meets the eye. Kyzen shrugs, "then we have to wait until she wants to tell us, just like you that have an unrequited crush for Revela and can't tell anyone about it. Sister must want to keep it to herself first before she decides to tell us, right?" Kyzen said, amusement written all over his face. Fabin, on the other hand, didn't listen after that girl's name came out from his little brother's mouth. How dare he! Kyzen seems a little taken aback by Fabin's sudden change of expression, he immediately grabs his brother's shoulder and stares at his eyes, "take a deep breath, we don't want a storm hit this castle, our sisters need as much sun as they can get right now,” Kyzen make a gesture of zipping his mouth, “I'll keep quiet about Revela," Kyzen said. Fabin did as Kyzen says, taking a deep breath and calming down. He glares at Kyzen before he gets inside the room where his family all gathered. Kyzen chuckles and is about to follow his step when he feels something. He turns around and looks at the empty hallway, eyes squinting with enormous attention, something with a strong amount of energy lurking around the end of the hallway. He was about to take a step and approach the end of the hallway, intending to deal with whatever it's standing there. But all of a sudden the enormous energy suddenly disappears, leaving Kyzen in confusion. "No way," he said aloud. A vampire?
