Avra pushes the door open, her eyes unconsciously lay upon her first daughter laying on the bed with her husband by her side, The Crown Prince of Suttern holds Elleryn's hand, eyes glued on with worried and tense plastered all over his body. Her eyebrows were raised at that scene.
"What do you think-" Leor is stopped immediately by Avra, she shakes her head at him before she turns and analyzes everything in front of her.
Elleryn is in the middle of healing herself, but he can hold her?
Is that even possible?
The way fairy heals themselves is different from the first daughter of Qye, because energy and power are being flowed through every cell of their body, they can't be touched at all during the process of healing. Anyone who dares to even poke them with a finger, can't even keep hold on for more than one second, the reaction would be differ from one creature to another, one can feel burnt, others could feel stung and numb, some could feel biting cold while others feel sharp prickled.
To conclude, it was shocking to see The Crown Prince able to hold her hand while she is still healing herself.
What exactly does this mean?
"Where are the others?" Avra inquired, she wanted to know the rest of her children's location, her eyes searching the empty room apart from her husband, her daughter and the Crown Prince.
"They were outside just now, I don't really know where they went," Rydan said truthfully. When they followed him to her room, they did come inside, but then after five minutes, each one of them decided to wait outside.
Avra smiles toward Rydan, eyes staring softly at the two of them, surprising Leor greatly. "Thank you," she said as she grabbed Leor wrist and dragged him outside the room, leaving the two inside.
"What is it?" Leor asked in confusion, he can't believe what he is witnessing at the moment, his wife let a Suttern be with her daughter’s side, Leor would accept it if somehow he suddenly awakened from a dream, but this is reality.
Even though the identity of said Suttern is his son-in-law, but still.
Avra pondered over it, eyes glancing at the closed door before she faced her husband, who stood beside her with questioning gaze and baffled at this situation. "Can’t you see? The others couldn't even stand the power currently rushing through her body while in the middle of her healing process. We can withstand it because we are her parents, but how is it possible that he can stay inside, holding her hand?" Avra whispered, eyes gleaming with hope, but Leor could only sigh.
"It's impossible, it's only a myth," Leor stated, eyebrow furrowed with questions filled his mind. Avra shakes her head, wanting him to believe her statement, however, it's hard to believe something that has been proclaimed as made up stories, if each creature has stood with the belief that such is a myth, it’ll be hard to topple that to the ground, but she is a true believer.
If that means happiness for her daughter.
"A myth that is happening in front of our eyes, you see it yourself, aren't you?" Avra whispered, grabbing his arms tightly for support, for fear of in the tick of time, she would suddenly awaken from her own beautiful dreams, for fear of returning to the nightmarish reality. Her heartbeat counters all of that fear as a smile slowly etched on her lips.
"I could feel it" she whispered once again, hands trembling in anticipation, eyes gleaming with unwavering hope.
"The Crown Prince is transferring his energy without him knowing"

Sunlight shines through the window, casting light almost to the entire room, a magical stone lantern placed inside provides needed heat, as the chirping of animals surrounds the once isolated chamber, she could smell the sweet scents of tea that Yoani probably makes, she squinted her eyes and cast it down to one person holding her hand, smiling down at her.
Her eyes widened, the once warmth sensation on her hands alarmed her, she was about to let go, but he tightened his grip and narrowed his eyes at her.
"I hold your hand through the night, you better not let it go now that you are awake," Rydan threatens, eyes lighting up with mischievousness.
She became baffled, finding it hard to believe what she just hears, but she nods her head anyway.
Elleryn looked flustered for a few minutes, before she chose to sit down on her bed with the help of the person beside her, her left hand still within Rydan’s warm hand, engulfing her small hand entirely, her eyes searching through the empty room and she about to question Rydan for her family, but Rydan able to read her face.
"They are in the room next door with Ezana, do you want me to call them?" Rydan explained whose eyes were filled with concern and worried.
For who?
Her?
Elleryn feels flustered and confused at the very moment, to be suddenly treated this way by him. She couldn't believe her eyes or her hand that rested with ease within his palm, making her heartbeat racing within a second.
"I'm sure they will be here in time," Elleryn whispered, before looking around. Her room is in the same state, though her dress has changed to a somewhat warm and comfortable attire.
To be honest, she only remembers a little from last night. Only selective scenes are embedded inside her mind, but she couldn't remember how she manages to get out of Qeera control. Looking up at his eyes, beautiful dark orbs staring at her light blue eyes with deep emotion she can't decipher.
Or she chooses to not believe it.
"What happens?" Elleryn asked finally. She wants to break this thick silence that develops between the two, in order to decrease her racing heart.
Rydan smirks, enough to make her startled.
"Do you want the truth? Or half-truth?" Rydan asks her, tilting his head with a smile spread wide, she makes a wrong move to ask. He succeeds in making her heartbeat races quicker. Elleryn blinks before she clears her throat and looks at Rydan's eyes once again.
For sure, what happened last night isn't that bad, right?
"Half?" Elleryn not sure, but Rydan nods anyway.
"I remember you did say 'then, I will kill each one of them' inside the hall," Rydan said nonchalantly.
Elleryn's mouth opened at Rydan's word, her eyes widened and her eyebrow scrunched up in worry. She is about to free her hand and get out of the room, wanting to confirm his word, but Rydan's grip only tightens, able to keep her in place.
"Don't you want to know the other half?" Rydan asked, his eyes twinkling with something Elleryn didn't see before, amused.
And Elleryn could only sigh before she nods her head this time.
"You manage to stop yourself though," Rydan stated. He looks proud after stating that. He is proud of her, to be able to stop herself.
And she is happy that he is proud of her.
"But how?"
Rydan shrugged before he smiled once again. That secretive smile seems to hold every truth that she needs to know, but she didn't push the topic.
She could ask him later.
His face turns somber after a while, casting his stare from her eyes to her side before he sighs.
"I'm sorry about Genieve, she was amazing," he said. Those words make her heart clenched tightly, she seems to struggle to voice out her own words, but she did after a while.
"How did you know? About Ezana's dragon?" Elleryn forces her smile, trying to hold down her tears desperately, but a tear slid down her cheek.
Rydan brushes the tear off with his thumb, cupping her cheek within his palm.
"I'm sorry. I overheard everything when you talked with Deair, but I was glad I did," Rydan smiles, pushing strands of hair to the back of her ear, smiling at her.
"I get to know more about you," he said.
Why?
Isn't he a Suttern?
And she is a Qye?
Isn't it f*******n? To be this close? Even if the outside world would deem it normal for husband and wife to be like this? But still, the crucial deal has been made long ago, before she was even alive, so why?
Rydan seems to know everything she questions within her mind, because he closes his eyes and takes a deep breath before he stares at her with a strong determination swirling within those beautiful orbs.
"I have decided to not care about those, whatever those are,” his words filled with certainty, as if laying out facts for Elleryn to ascertain before he turned uneasy and tense, “so can I stay by your side?" Rydan asked, no, to be precise he begs her this time.
Not like last time, this time he is the one who begs.
She closes her eyes because she couldn't withstand those stares that are able to go through her mind.
But can he really?
Not care about 'whatever'.
Even the throne?
