Author’s POV
The wedding bells are ringing and everyone is preparing for the bride and the groom, well this wedding is not like every normal fairytale wedding but rather a simple house wedding insisted by both the bride and groom.
Ava’s POV
I can’t believe Tim getting married to a guy I don’t even know, I sat down by the mirror as my makeup was being done with my makeup artist.
“You look beautiful my dear” my mom said happily hugging me
“You’re good to go” the makeup artist said as she turned me to the mirror
“What the heck” I said
“Is something wrong ma’am” the makeup artist said
“No it’s just that I was surprised on how I looked” I said still surprised on how I looked
“Makeup is really a mask” I said to myself
Mom helped me with my stilettos and held my hand as she led me outside, lucky enough there’s no press present at the wedding.
I turned towards the alter and there stood the lovely grooms of mine looking extraordinary handsome I must say.
I walked slowly with mom till we got to my groom.
The priest read out the vows and also the wedding commandments.
“Do you Maxwell Evan take miss Ava Johnson to be your lawfully wedded wife?” The Priest said
He looked at me as we locked eyes, deep down I wanted his answer to be No.
“ Yes of course I do” he said
“And do you miss Ava Johnson take Maxwell Evan to be your lawfully wedded husband” the priest asked
I took a deep breath I never knew I was holding while mom kept on whispering Yes to me.
“I Do” I dropped those words I can never take back
“You’re now joined in holy matrimony and I pronounce you man and wife, you may kiss the bride” the priest said with a smile
“What?” I shouted as leaned and pecked my lips
I can’t believe he stole my first kiss, I promise he’ll pay for it.
“Congratulations my dear” his mom said as she hugged me
“Thanks ma’am” I said to her with a fake smile
“You can call me mom now” she said with a smile
“Ok mom, thank you” I said
“Of course am glad to have such a beautiful daughter-in-law” she smiled at me
“ A white sports car is waiting outside, you guys will be taken to the beach house where you’re gonna spend your honeymoon” she said as mom rushed to me hugging me as Alex stood there laughing at me.
Max’s POV
“Now this wedding is over I can’t wait to go home and rest, am sure my new toy is waiting for me, she doesn’t know what I have installed for her” I said as I smirked
Ava’s Mom POV
“Devon am scared” I said
“Scared of what exactly Silvia” he said
“ I know Ava too well, am sure she’s planning something worse this time, she’s acting way too good to be true” I said as he kept assuring me everything would be ok.
