Chapter 46 - Settling in

I sat out side on the steps of the pack house looking up at the stars. After Hermia said what she did, she ran back to James and they went off to show her to her room. I asked Lee if it was true that there was a mate bond there and he said he couldn’t feel it if there was. I asked if he was lying and he got super defensive. I went out to get air. I heard someone come out and assumed it was Lee. The person sat down and I looked to see James looking up at the stars too. I didn’t say anything and I looked back to the sky.

“Hermia is settling in. Waiting for someone to bring her bags.” He said to me softly. We sat in silence for a moment. “If it’s true, she can feel the bond with Lee aswell, then maybe it would be good for you guys to visit Redmoon.” He said.

“Lee says he can’t feel it.” I said to him.

“That’s because you have sealed your bond. He’ll only have eyes for you. I do worry because…” he looked at me and I looked at him. “You left for Lee.” He looked at a car approaching.

“Even from the beginning, Lee had been so kind. Spending every moment up till your birthday trying to make me happy. You had been so unkind when we first met. I see something different from Hermia. You’re already attentive.” James nodded and got up.

“I hope you’re right Hannah. I don’t think I can lose someone else.” He walked to the car and I walked with him grabbing a bag. We both walked up to Hermia’s room, my old room. Hermia was sitting on the bed and jumped up when she saw James.

“You’re back!!” She said excitedly. She kinda reminded me of Madison in a way. I set down one of her bags and she looked at me.

“Hannah!” She said enthusiastically.

“I thought I would help.” She walked over and hugged me.

“You look just like Julia, you know that right?” I nodded my head yes. “I feel like I already know you. I’ve been told about you my whole life.” She smiled at me. “And soon hopefully we’ll be sisters!” She grabbed James hand. I smiled and nodded.

“Well good night you guys.” I walked out of that awkward conversation and off to Lee’s room. I peeked in. He put down his phone and looked at me.

“Hey, I’m sorry about earlier.” I came in and closed the door. I sheepishly walked over to the bed.

“Sorry for what?” He said looking at his phone again.

“Accusing you of lying. I was out of line. You’ve never given me a reason to not trust you.” I sat on the edge of the bed and Lee put his phone on the night stand. He sat up and kissed me.

“It’s ok, I kinda like that you’re jealous.” He grabbed me and started tickling me. I laughed and squirm trying to get away. He grabbed me and kissed me squeezing me in a bear hug. We looked at each other happily.

“So glad I’m here with you.” I said rubbing his cheek.

“I’m so happy to be anywhere with you.” He kissed me.

“Funny you say that!” I said and Lee sat back.

“Yes?” He said unsure.

“James thinks it might be good we go to Redmoon. We could just go check it out and come back?” I said to him. He thought for a moment. He looked at me and grabbed my hand.

“I’ll go where ever you go. I’ll let you decide. We can take time away from college and spend time there or spend sometime there and go to the college. What ever you want, I’m here with you.” I smiled wide and jumped onto him hugging him.

“Thank you thank you!” I said over and over and he laughed. I started kissing him all over and soon we were making out. Every thing suddenly came to halt when I heard my phone ringing. We both looked at it.

“Don’t answer.” Lee said kissing my neck. I picked up the phone and he groaned.

“I just want to see who it is.” I said and he continued to kiss my chest. “It’s Angelica.” He leaned his head on my chest and sighed.

“Hello?” I answered and he glared at me. I slid off his lap. All of a sudden all I heard was gleeful screams. I held the phone out and pressed speaker.

“Hannah oh my god!” I heard Angelica breathing.

“You’re on speaker, Lee is here too.” I looked at him and he was clearly annoyed.

“Hannah my wolf came! The mate bond brought my wolf finally! Oh my god!” Angelica was a half breed and most had to wait until they were eighteen for their wolf.

“That’s wonderful! I’m happy for you!” I replied.

“Jason is here and wants to say hello!” Angelica fumbled the phone over.

“Broooos! How’s it going?” Jason was also ecstatic. “My babes wolf is incredible!”

“Hi Jason! I can’t wait to see it!” I said to him.

“Yeah sounds amazing, we have to go.” Lee said.

“Oh yeah? Ok guys!” And then Lee hit the hang up button. I looked at him wide eyed.

“Lee!?” He laughed and put the phone on the nightstand.

“You can call her tomorrow.” He said and grabbed me pulling me back onto his lap. “Where were we?” He said kissing my chest.

“You’re unbelievable” I said laughing.
