Chapter 21 - Figuring it out

I had to undress from the waist down for this!? Madison at least waited in the other room for them to torture my v*gina! They did a examination and one with a bristle brush to scrape the walls of my uterus just to check that everything downstairs was ok. Peeing in a cup was also humiliating but thankfully they did a pregnancy test right then and there with a big old negative! Thank you Moon Goddess! They let me get dressed and asked me to come to the doctors office. Madison jumped up and accompanied my mom and I. We sat in the chairs a crossed from Doctor Fairview.

“Hannah Hannah Hannah…” Doctor Fairview shook her head. I grew nervous. “I’m glad you’re here during business hours! Now what birth control were you looking for?” She went over all the different kinds with the percentage of effectiveness. I opted for the pill but was warned the longer I was on the pill, the higher chance of depression. I nodded and the doctor started to write something on a pad.

“Here’s your prescription first of all, second I wanted to talk to you about your phone call. I too did some research about identical twins and mates.” My mother looked at me.

“What did you find out?” I inquired.

“Well Hannah you are right. Both identical twins can share one mate until the mate is bonded and sealed to one of them. So once you are marked by one, the others mate bond to you will fade away. They will be delivered a second chance mate at some point.” I wanted to be confused. I knew I was feeling the bond with both of them. I knew I wasn’t just crazy or some kind of s*x crazed maniac. “But I also read a story of a mate making a twin wait so long that she was over come with jealousy and madness. I read another story of a twin she wolves killing each other over one male. The longer you wait Hannah, the harder it will be.” If this wasn’t something I had heard a million times.

“I understand.” I said and Madison leaned her head on my shoulder. I didn’t have much longer until my 18th birthday. I was worried if I waited past then, the twins might kill each other.

“Well thank you Doctor, this has been informative.” My mom stood up and I handed her my prescription.

“Hannah I hope you stay well.” The Doctor said as we left the office. I knew she was referring to the other night with James. As we left the office my mother turned to me.

“What’s this about office hours??” There maybe was some things I left out during our talk.

“It was the night I told you I slept with James. I felt such terrible heart ache. I passed out from the pain and I told you about the dreams with the baby. I just didn’t mention that James got the doctor involved.” My mother sighed.

“Here.” She handed me money. “Get something nice for graduation. Maybe stop and get something to eat.” She hugged me and walked off to the car. I knew she was trying to give me some kind of freedom. Being her first pup it was hard for her. I looked at Madison and we smiled and ran off to the car.

After picking some cute dresses we stopped at Charlie’s to eat both in the mood for greasy cheeseburgers. We were laughing and getting along when the guys walked in. I smiled at my twin alphas. They both smiled back. Declan squeezed into our tiny booth next to Madison who kissed him over and over. She told him how much she missed him last night and how hard it was to sleep with out him. James sat next to me and Lee grabbed a chair. We talked about our up coming graduation. James looked at me. I could see him looking at me with a loving gaze.

“Have you decided to come with us to college?” He asked moving the hair from my face.

“I haven’t decided, I’m leaning towards yes.” Everyone but Lee looked happy. I felt that Lee thought if I was to stay, it meant I wanted to be with James. That was simply not the case. I still had the feeling I didn’t belong here sometimes. Every dream I had pushed me to stay, but could I call them dreams anymore? It was more like portals to the past.

“Lee?” Declan asked. I didn’t notice that Lee suddenly stood up. “What’s wrong brother?” Declan put a hand on his shoulder.

“I just suddenly feel sick. I’m going to try to get some fresh air.” Lee walked out and we saw him walk to the edge of the forest where they normal caught their runs. He undressed and ran off. The table was quiet.

“I’m sorry for my brother, he’s been unwell lately. Most nights he’s been going for runs. I think it’s hard for him being a third or fifth wheel.” James watched out the window.

“I think we should head home Madison.” I said to her and the guys let us out. Declan kissed Madison as we got into our separate cars. She promised to come to his place later so they could sleep. James kissed me good bye asking when we could see each other again. I responded with a simple soon and we got into our cars. The guys drove away but Madison didn’t start the car.

“I’m hating myself for saying this, but you need to go to him.” Madison looked to me. “I’ll drop your dress off at home.” She waved me to the door and I got out.

“Thank you Madison, I was going to wait until you dropped me off.” I took off in a run to the edge of the forest and quickly undressed. I transformed into my wolf and smelled the air. I followed Lee’s sent off into the woods.
