Scene1 – The Mask Room
In the corner of the dark room, filled with shelves of masks and assorted clothing, Magda and Lara moved silently, each lost in her own world.
Magda, in her true identity, stood before the large mirror mounted on the wall. A faint light from the old lamp seeped through the curtains, casting shadows over her tense, focused features. Her gaze was meticulous, as if analyzing every detail of herself before beginning the psychological and visual transformation into another persona.
On the other side, Lara wore Atika’s mask, perfectly embodying the maid’s character. Her slow movements and regal posture conveyed the sense that her body had become a tool for fully inhabiting a persona that did not entirely belong to her, as if every subtle gesture revealed a hidden secret
