The villa’s courtyard was eerily quiet. Only the rustling of the trees and the whisper of the wind slipping through the high garden walls could be heard — like secrets murmured by unseen lips. Three cars stood in a row before the main entrance, their engines off, their headlights casting a faint, ghostly shimmer across the walls — a breath of death frozen in light.
