SELENE The only way I would survive long enough to destroy Lucas... was to kill Tristan…my mate. I buried my face in my hands, sitting on the cold tile floor of the bathroom like a ghost of myself. My bare legs were curled up beneath me, Tristan’s shirt hanging off one shoulder, still smelling like him. I should have taken it off, I should have thrown it far away, but I could not bear to do that.
