It felt good to be back at the clinic. I hadn't stepped in for a few days, and the halls felt active than I remembered. A couple of nurses asked how Ethan was doing. I was a bit taken aback as I didn't even know how they all found out Ethan and I were living together, or that he'd been hospitalized. They all believe it was just an accident. And truth be told it was better that way for now.
