Chapter 3 – The Encounter

937 Words
It was almost midnight when I stood in the hallway of my suite. I turned to study my reflection in the mirror before reaching for the doorknob. I sighed, I hadn’t packed any club attire. I studied my frame from bottom to top; my black jeans hugged and accentuated my curves they were the tightest pair of jeans I had packed. They were tucked into knee high boots that made my legs go on for days. At five feet eight inches I wasn’t the tallest woman around but I wasn’t exactly considered petite either. I added some red lipstick to my plump lips, the contrast going well with my tanned skin. I ran my hands through my long dark hair and sighed again before opening the door. I could tell that this was going to be a long night and I hoped I was prepared. The club was packed, as was expected on a Friday night. I scanned the dimly lit dance floor before deciding to head towards the bar. “What can I get you?” asked the busty bartender. “Let me have a Martini, dry, three olives” I responded as I leaned casually against the bar. Vaughn had already abandoned me in search of his latest conquest. I scanned the crowd again trying to spot him among the heads bobbing on the dance floor. I watched as he emerged from the crowd with two blondes, neither of which looked old enough to be there. “Ladies, this is my friend Taylor that I’ve been telling you about-”, “Hi” both girls exclaimed in unison “Taylor, this is Cindy and Erica” Vaughn continued. I scanned both girls Cindy was tall, slender and definitely wore too much makeup; but Erica, she looked about five feet five inches and had a curvaceous body. I took in all her curves with my gaze, from her rounding hips to her full breasts. She had deep blue eyes and pouty lips that I knew exactly what to do with. My pulse quickened as I imagined all the things I could do to her and I could feel the sweat forming on the back of my neck. “We hit the jackpot” Vaughn commented as he leaned closer to me “They’re up for anything”. My gaze shifted between both girls; Cindy was clearly the leader. I eyed her warily as she rubbed her slender frame against Vaughn.  Erica looked like any minute now she was about to bolt. She blushed when I turned to focus my attention on her. “Would you like to dance?” I asked her. She hesitated before looking at Cindy for confirmation. At Cindy’s slight nod she grabbed my hand and pulled me towards the dance floor. Vaughn, excited by the thought that I may have a good time grabbed Cindy by the arm and followed. “What’s a nice girl like you doing in a place like this?” I sounded like an i***t. Why did I even say that? That had to be the cheesiest line of all time. Erica’s frown told me all I needed to know. “Wow. Aren’t I a walking cliche” I continued before she could say anything. She chuckled and I let out a silent thanks that all was not lost. As the music played Erica ground her body against mine; her soft curves seemed to fit perfectly into mine. The scent of her perfume was like pheromones to me. My pulse throbbed as she rubbed up against me. As our bodies intertwined on the dance floor I leaned into her. I heard her gasp as my breath caught the nape of her neck. We danced for what felt like an hour before I motioned to her to join me by the bar. She had gotten to me, the sweet scent of lavender lingered on my clothes and I needed a drink to calm my nerves. “So what do you do?” asked Erica, taking a sip of her drink. “I’m in Finance,” I responded, not wanting to go into specifics. “You?” “Well, I just graduated college” I had hoped talking to her would have provided a much needed distraction but it wasn’t working. I couldn’t take my mind off of what I wanted to do to her. My eyes kept reverting to her lips as she sucked on her straw. I licked my own lips, longing to taste hers. I looked up and realized that Erica was staring at me, clearly waiting for a response to something she had said. “I’m sorry, what was that?” I cupped my hand over my ear and pretended that the music was too loud. She giggled, clearly the margaritas were getting to her. I had tipped the bartender generously and obviously it had worked. “Do you want to get out of here?” I asked almost shyly. Erica teetered on her heels “Where are we going?” “My hotel is just down the street” I cleared my throat, my voice raspy with desire. Her eyes lit up enthusiastically and she leaned in closely, “let’s go”. My body shivered as her lips brushed my ear. Excitement spread through me. She giggled when I grabbed her by the hand and practically ran out of the club, pulling her behind me as I went. I quickly hailed a passing cab; that asshole Vaughn had left with my rental.  “Where to?” asked the driver, when we hopped into the backseat. “The St Regis,” I said, handing him a twenty dollar bill. Erica was still giggling next to me in the backseat. I rested my hand gently on her thigh. As we sped towards the hotel I closed my eyes and breathed deeply, impatiently anticipating what was sure to happen next.
